i've gotta try this!! its beautiful.
Nope
How do I go about getting access to wholesale flower prices to build my portfolio if I don't have an official business or license? I've been really creative creating arrangements for some small events with grocery & Farmers market flowers but I end up paying more for the flowers that way.
You can start a sole prop for close to nothing. Just use your name as your business and you can use you SSN for tax purposes. Use ChatGPT- type in: give me the exact steps to set up a sole prop in xyc location.
I love that this is from free and want to try! Would this drip and stain?
It does drip while you are designing. I recommend designing it on a surface that can get wet and it will be done draining in about an hour. If you are designing onsite you can bring plastic coverings to prevent dripping and staining while designing- but it's just easier to design off site and bring it with you!
Do you add more water each day or no?
No- this is something you’d soak once if using for an installation like this. Once it’s up, it’s generally for an event which would happen that same day. So, flowers would generally never need to last this long! You CAN add water if you’re using it for a centerpiece and it’s sitting in a vessel that holds water.
@@floraleducation got it! Thanks. I'll have to try this out.
This stunning!
Thank you so much! It was fun to make. I did actually regret the little frogs because it felt too busy, but create and learn!❤️
Stunning !!!!! I can not wait to try this ! Thank you !
Gorgeous....and so useful!
I absolutely love this flower runner! You’re such a great teacher!❤
Thank you so much! I appreciate you tuning in!
Absolutely beautiful!! Love your technique.🎉
Thank you so much!!
This is so interesting. I took a class and she used chicken wire and foam to do the cascade . Now I need to do one and hmmm wondering which way to do it
Thanks for watching and for your comment! I will always recommend not using foam because of the ingredients and how much it can harm your health. 💗 if you want to learn more you can check out a recent post I created about it here: instagram.com/p/C-VMvxYuXzr/?img_index=1
Beautiful
Can you please list the recipe. Absolutely gorgeous runner.
Stunning 😍
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for the gifting me the class today. Beautiful work
So interesting to watch the process, thank you for sharing your beautiful work
Thank you! This is very similar to the installation I will be doing this Summer. I will be using hydrangea, roses, and dahlias. Do dahlia stems penetrate the agrawool? A little concerned about dahlias.
Do you have a link for the birdcage thingy? Would like to use these agrawool -- also did you find it harder to insert with softer stems (poking a hole first?)
Beautiful! what would the price point be for an installation like this?
So beautiful! You are very talented.
Thank you so much!
This gorgeous and I absolutely LOVE IT, but where are your pants from???😍
A piece of art!
Such a gorgeous piece! So helpful! Thank you!!
You are so welcome!
❤❤❤
Absolutely beautiful! Love this bouquet! Do you ever worry about the longer stems snapping, like those longer ranunculus? Do you ever wire them or how do you keep them from breaking since they’re so tall? Thank you!
it's so reassuring and useful to see your pace and readjustments as you go. I've gotten self conscious watching tutorials when people rarely backtrack or adjust.
So so stunning!
Thank you!
Can you share how many bunches you used for this installation? Love it!
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing ❤
Learned so many things. Thank you so much!
I've never heard of oshun pouches (I'm in Australia); but how do you prevent the water coming out on to the table?
She mentions at 10:30 that once the pouches drain a little then they soak all the water and no longer drip out. :)
They are contained in a type of film holds the water and the substance inside. However, to soak them you have to poke about we holes on each side. So, right after soaking them they will drain a bit out of these holes. That’s why I’d recommend designing this a few hours before you place it on any type of linen!
How often do you or can you reuse the oshun pouches?! This is so beautiful and love the sustainability!
They aren’t designed to be reusable, but are regenerative in that you can add them to your garden soil!
@@floraleducation thank you that makes sense. So unlike foam being able to reuse over again these are one time use but less toxic and can decompose in your garden
What font is this? It’s so pretty
Which one? On the cover or in the video intro?
@@floraleducation yes!
It’s called Evangelina!
Thank you for sharing! Beautiful font.@@floraleducation
Hi! I enjoyed this tutorial, thank you for sharing! Q: did you have any difficulty inserting the hydrangea stems into the Agra-wool? How do you soak it when you are using a large sheet of it. Thank you!😊
OMG !! That's a piece of art!! sooo beautiful!!
Beautiful! Question...how forgiving is it to re insert stems onto this new foam?
So beautiful! How many hydrangeas did you use?
Stoked for this! I like working with Floral Foam (with the exception of the toxicity, waste, etc etc etc..) and when I first saw this, I thought it was real wool (yeah....). I just looked this up it seems like pretty great stuff! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your kindness ❤
Very interesting 🎉
Gorgeous design
How many Stems are you used for this bridal bouquet? What could be a good price?
I would suggest a $400 price point for this bouquet because the charlotte ranunculus are very pricey!
Who are you wearing 😍
Gorgeous. What’s the foliage you are using? With the gold?
Just stunning Alyssa!
Such a beautiful bouquet, and I love the idea of using the willow! Thank you 😃
of course!! Thank you so much for watching!
thanks for sharing your knowledge! I'm lovin 'it!! I have a question, what do you think is one of the reasons why the hydrangeas sometimes they start to die immediately when they are in green foam or Agra wool? Thanks!!
Love it! Also, your outfit!!
The form is beautiful, but only white hydrangeas? To me this is truly boring.
Thank you! We chose hydrangea to support a small farm and to showcase that this sustainable foam product works well even on stems that really need hydration. Thanks for tuning in, even if you were bored while doing so 🤣
@@floraleducation Couldn't you have done the same Plus use some variation in form and color? Just thinking out loud...
Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder…to me, this is truly stunning! Definitely agree that the form is beautiful, the way she executed it is pure artistry 💛
Thank you so much for this great mechanic tip! All my florals designs are foam free and I don’t like using chicken wire much, so this is great!
