    How do I go about getting access to wholesale flower prices to build my portfolio if I don't have an official business or license? I've been really creative creating arrangements for some small events with grocery & Farmers market flowers but I end up paying more for the flowers that way.

      You can start a sole prop for close to nothing. Just use your name as your business and you can use you SSN for tax purposes. Use ChatGPT- type in: give me the exact steps to set up a sole prop in xyc location.

    I love that this is from free and want to try! Would this drip and stain?

    • @floraleducation
      @floraleducation Місяць тому

      It does drip while you are designing. I recommend designing it on a surface that can get wet and it will be done draining in about an hour. If you are designing onsite you can bring plastic coverings to prevent dripping and staining while designing- but it's just easier to design off site and bring it with you!

    Do you add more water each day or no?

    • @floraleducation
      @floraleducation Місяць тому

      No- this is something you’d soak once if using for an installation like this. Once it’s up, it’s generally for an event which would happen that same day. So, flowers would generally never need to last this long! You CAN add water if you’re using it for a centerpiece and it’s sitting in a vessel that holds water.

    I've never heard of oshun pouches (I'm in Australia); but how do you prevent the water coming out on to the table?

    • @robytoo
      @robytoo Рік тому

      She mentions at 10:30 that once the pouches drain a little then they soak all the water and no longer drip out. :)

    • @floraleducation
      @floraleducation Рік тому

      They are contained in a type of film holds the water and the substance inside. However, to soak them you have to poke about we holes on each side. So, right after soaking them they will drain a bit out of these holes. That’s why I’d recommend designing this a few hours before you place it on any type of linen!

  • @modernstoryeventco6645

    How often do you or can you reuse the oshun pouches?! This is so beautiful and love the sustainability!

    • @floraleducation
      @floraleducation Рік тому

      They aren’t designed to be reusable, but are regenerative in that you can add them to your garden soil!
