Shyamalan is not a good writer. He never has been a good writer. He struggles particularly with dialogue. His characters never seem like real people, and it baffles me that the industry keeps rewarding him for it.

Totally understand why you’re very mixed on that third act! I actually had a good bit of fun with this movie, and thought it was a pretty entertaining yet messy little cat and mouse flick. Definitely loses some steam toward the end and the conclusion is a bit undercooked, but as someone that hasn't vibed with M. Night Shyamalan for a while I was surprised that it worked for me. Great review, dude!

Really wanted to love the film. Trailer looked great, M. night is always super creative, I Walked out of the film last night slightly disappointed. Excellent premise/concept, but just horribly executed. From the start, the film should’ve been a fast-paced, hour and 15ish min film where the entire story revolves around him just trying to escape while still being the best dad he can. Don’t need to include the rest of his family, his childhood backstory, etc. Keep the plot simple with Riley being that emotional center of the film. The film kinda wants you to root for him because of that emotional connection with his daughter, in spite of his crimes. Film could’ve been great - wasted potential sadly. Good video though you earned a sub

This movie was very good. We are not a monolithic race of people. I have heard of families fighting at funerals. I have also heard about family members being upset at the pastors eulogy and stopping the funeral and asking the funeral director to remove the body from the church. I have known a family who didn't have money for the funeral of a loved one and publicly humiliated the person who paid for the funeral. Dallas killed his father for beating his mother an d yet he became his father.

What I didn't like about this movie is the pastor's daughter dressing inappropriately in the church and in their presence. That makes some women think it's ok to come to church dressed like that.

😆 🤣 yes classy ladies wear slips to smoothe out panty lines, and cellulite, and primarily to avoid being able to see through a long dress. These days girls either wear spanx type undergarments to smoothe things out, .... thongs so there are no panty lines.... or lastly, are too ghetto to know to wear something to prevent people being able to see through your dress. Or they just don't wear dresses long enough to require a slip.

Good evening to you, like your content. Tyler’s stuff is crap for several reasons. He’s the only writer, so we only get his viewpoint. He needs to hire writers, directors, women & men of all races. Let’s see someone else’s point of view. His odd reference points on relationships is skewed. I stop watching his shows & movies long ago.

While an interesting show, my only gripe is that I am pretty much tired of "black stories" always involving gangs/gangsters/violence/dysfunction/characters with silly anger issues. Whether its African stories with war/conflict, abusive husbands to balck ameeican stories with gangs, violence and crime to black brit stories with roadmen, gangs, and violence. Surely, our own people can come upwith stories that are "relatable" but don't have these stories all the damn time about black people

How are you doing today and how your weekend? Not a bad film. The first half of the film put me to sleep with the buffoonery trying to compete of who going to catch the tornado. However, the 2nd half of the film got a lot better and so did the character development. Daisy character is pretty much relatable to everyone because at some point of overcoming her fear and need a boost of confidence that she can do it.
