Our family lost power for a week, little did we know the first days how bad our neighbors in the mountains had it. In day 3, we showed up to church and it had power and internet when no where else around did. So we started cooking and feeding, and our first week fed 4,000.

Our southern family was blown away when we were able to see the aurora Borealis is the mountains of North Carolina. It was an unusually cold evening in May, for us southerners. #northernlights #auroraborealis #northcarolinaLights #thenorthernlights #rare #familytime

Part of our 2 weeks adventure of Oahu and the big island in 2022. We flew out of #honolulu into #kona. You can see the open air airport at the end of the video. Check out some of the most amazing sunsets of our trip! We enjoyed the gondola rides at the Hilton Waikoloa Village in the evening and loved snorkeling in the private lagoon with the sea turtles there. It was an absolutely amazing stay!...

This video is from our 2022 trip, and you hear us mention the last time there was an eruption in 2019, there have been more eruptions since then. We rented a sprinter van from toro and used it to travel the big island.
