    Can anyone help me please?.. My chest measures around 39 inches , right in the middle of the L and XL sizes, and I don't know which one to get!!. (L is between 36 and 39 inches while XL is between 39 and 42 inches).... Any suggestions on which one to buy?... This product is not sold on my country so I can't put it on before purchasing it... Any help would be appreciated!

    Decent stand. Fabrication quality is moderately disappointing. Nothing broke, its just a hasty weld/fit overall. I run LO206 karts. They completely dump fuel when using this stand the way its shown in this video, so I'm still asking strangers for help unloading. I don't need a (mild) fire hazard at the track.

  • @jb4d80
    @jb4d80 3 роки тому

    I have a kart with a LO206 motor that spills fuel from the carb every time I stand it on its rear to load it in the kart stand. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Does this happen with 2-stroke motors?

    • @StabnSteer
      @StabnSteer 3 роки тому

      This is a Briggs carb issue only and cannot really be prevented beyond emptying the bowl of the carb prior to placing the kart on the stand. I always remove my air filter before loading the kart on the stand so the gas doesn't remove the oil from the filter (I keep the requisite socket in the tray of the stand). Nonetheless, I love this stand and find it to be a great, cost-effective option to the expensive motorized stands.

    Tony the heavy weight lifting champion demonstrates how easy is to use the one man kart stand. My kart weigh 224lbs and I'm 170lbs. I can lift it but not like this. It might works fine for a light karts, but not for the heavy ones.

    • @edkarter7062

      I am 135 lbs in Briggs Masters . One guy who is 110 heavier than me helped me lift my kart . He also cursed me out ! He knew kart was heavy just not that heavy !! Had to retire for medical reasons and one guy had a one man cable and crank kart stand that he wanted to sell me !

      @@edkarter7062 I have been lifting the karts with my daughter (she is 17 and very strong) but yeah, we struggle with my shifter. I started selling the Tillotson T4, that is a 4 stroke and I can lift it with my daughter fairly easy. The T4 is also much faster than the Briggs with 15HP. On a long run, a hydraulic or electric or even the cable manual lift is a must for the karts. It gets old to lift them.

      @@oldwortex5818 Thankfully when worked at track was banned from lifting the A+D karts at start and end of day! The back feels way older than what my birth certificate says! Missed one race due to a sore neck. Of course it was fine in race day but still went to track and helped lift and start karts until back started to get sore . The huge bonus is kart track is at turn 8 of Mosport ! So spent rest of day watching karts and cars ! The one cool thing was watching the kids grow up.At one time one kid was not old enough to race and he almost as tall as me now ! His sister was 10 at the time and now she is 18 !

      @@edkarter7062 I have been going to gokart track with my kids. My daughter started when she had trouble reaching the pedals on a cadet kart. Now she drives her car on a track and does very well. Beat out many boys older and more experienced then her. karting is awesome. I started a business because I think karting needs more exposure. I'm planning to do a lease-race-kart program at the local kart tracks (have 3 all within 3h away) to promote the karting and the great karts I sell. My back is sore every time so I joined the local YMC. Started Yoga. Took 5 years off of my back in 3 months. I strongly recommend doing that once or twice a week. I used to get my back hurt several times a year, now its maybe once a year if that. Yoga is great for old bones and tight muscles.

      @@oldwortex5818 Giood man ! I never stop praising the awesomeness of our sport ! Definitely was not in it for for the money ! Was approached. Do you want to work here its a long day and shit pay ! So of course said yes . Up at 4 am Sundays with a 125km one way trip. On occasion would get off work at 11 pm Friday and go right to track and sleep there ! On my 3rd season someone from main track offered me a position. Honored for sure but heart is in Karting ! So was a thanks but no thanks moments! As for women in racing would gladly hold door open for them and zero issue closing it on them on track !😀 Amy and I owned the podium for 3 seasons and the only driver have pulled off a 0.000 with ! Loved her like a niece except from green flag to chequered !! With any sort of exercise I am super lazy . More a walker than anything else! Work helps a bit on some days . More like my brain or so called brain failed me . Of course have been perfectly fine on race days . One minor issue was licence taken. away because of it. The get up and just go days are gone . There is one track close enough for transit and its quite the trip. Will go and help on the weekend of a big event ! Get to see everyone and have a great spot to watch the races!

    should be sitting down when fitting it. I wear mine on the outside as it protects your suit from tearing.

      you should not wear it outside your suit, they are made for being inside the suit and they can get ruined and loose effect.
