Interesting Ideas Come to Life
Exhaust Pipe Oil Burner Free Heat for the Winter!
6 OilBurnerShortVoiceOver60Sec
We’ve seen countless videos on UA-cam in the past
Showing how People have made Used Oil Burners,
with some Pretty Ingenious Approaches.
From Using Pipes Compressed with air
2 blow through a Needle Sized Hole
and Then..
Drip the Oil onto the Tip.
You then Ignite the spray of oil that is Emitted
Creating
Quite the Flame Thrower.
All the way
To a small vat Fed with Oil,
With Air coming from a Smaller Tube Inside the vat,
with smaller holes drilled into the End of the pipe
to create air flow..
Then Somehow igniting the oil and keeping it lit
And Most of the time... this all has to be welded up.
All of the approaches I have seen on UA-cam have a Time Consuming Process.
Why not solve this entire problem with a properly bent 2.5” Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipe that has a gravity fed oil drip system and a computer fan introducing fresh air to the burner for ignition with a fire starter
All held in place with the proper wallboard
and 2.5” Exhaust Supports.
This can Stay in the Winter months
and Easily be taken down when its Warmer
All in all..
This only took me about an hour and a half To build.
Like it?

Exhaust Pipe Oil Burner Getting Red Hot

5 Getting Burner Going Red Hot I started this project with other Peoples Efforts In their home made oil Burner Builds, in mind. I thought there had to be a better way to Make a used oil burner without Breaking out the Welder. Something in Which I’m not opposed to doing, but wanted something Anyone could put together in their Garage. Going over the best videos; I didn’t want to weld, get special...

add air to exhaust. That standing exhaust pipe needs air. Put it in place and drill 2 rows with 4 one inch holes.. Put a 5" to 3" reducer above the holes outside the pipe. add a 5" pipe 10 inch lower than the drilled holes. Now it will suck frech air in to exhaust and give you a cleaner burn..
you need exhaust vented outside or you'll wont need to worry about staying warm
dude, I'm not going to lie. Easy to make not complicated & looks to put out the heat. awesome thinking out side the box cheers
Place into the background barrel and run an exhaust vent outside... optimize and repeat... good engineering might save your life...
words words words it would be pretty darn cool if you recorded the process and details you mentioned in your story using that vidya camera ya got there.
@@mcanderson0 Watch the other video. They tell all
LOL We know you can talk.
@hillbillyyhomer Ha, your right I can. But my other vids have my voice over that I tell plenty about the process
Simple and Impressive !
Would love to see more of this! Very good idea!
Heat the pipe before lighting it and be carful you dont get carbon monoxide poisoning. Id make a combustion chamber on the end of the current exhaust then feed the exhaust outside. It will take away the excessive heat from the lower pipe and leave you with clean air to breathe.
@@Blandy929 That's the eventual end result. I wanted to see if the process works before I spent more efforts
Could have it also suck in cold fresh air from outside to burn, very nice job
Nice design! You need a chimney tho, right? Surely this produces carbon monoxide?
3:16. "Flame cover" mentioned in vid
@@MichaelT_Makeswhat would a "flame cover" be/do in this context?
I hope you keep the oil tank far enough away from that. That 50 gal drum doesn't look double walled.
Man, I think I would put some concrete board up on the wall and also put a metal pan under the whole shebang in order to catch any dripping fuel if there is a crack. After several heating and cooling cycles, the brittle metal could crack.
great video, how cool
@@JoebobbedGaming I'll be applying a flame cover and oil tank. Stay tuned
You're still using a lot of electricity with the blower fan! My electric bill is 3 to 4 times higher than it was 4 years ago it's absolutely crazy!
This is a 12v fan. It shouldn't use too much. Ill get a vid with a meter to see how much it will use
@@MichaelT_Makes I don't think it uses more than 15 watts. I have a few of these, server fans. They rotate at extremely high RPM but still don't consume much electricity.
Curious. What kind of oil are you burning? It would be interesting to see a drawn cross section of it. Looking forward to the next related video. Thanks
Used Oil for the vid. Will be using Veg Oil Next run.
Does this guy know about carbon monoxide?😅
