I am a caregiver for kids with disabilities. Thank goodness I have another source of income I would not be able to survive on what I make as a caregiver. Servers and front of house need the tips, they make less. The chef most likely makes a decent salary. When I get good service I give good tips, when I get take out, the chef gets paid and I do not tip and if some server thinks they deserve a tip just for "bagging" the order they have bigger entitlement issues to work on.
