She seems pregnant based on her belly and she chose your house as her birthing place. You could set up a small box or cat shelter lined with soft materials, like towels or blankets, outside to give her a cozy space. Just throwing this out there-if you're open to it, you might consider installing a pet door or a cat flap on your door, as she seems interested in coming inside. She seems to be looking for a safe spot for herself and her kittens. Keep us updated!

Scooter is my feral cat friend. After over a year he is still stand off-ish. He is gradually becoming more social.

MOW work continues around here and a fair number of trains pass through town at restricted speed.

I was walking to the Post Office to mail a bill. I was about a mile away when this train reported his location about 6 miles away. Somehow I got there in time to film him, guess he was going very slow.

NS T-38 was greeted by a NS Engineer and kid out watching trains.

Did you catch the wave at 0:52? I saw some other railfans after NS-911 passed by but they zoomed away before I got down to the MP-172 filming spot. Oh well - beats a stanky trash train!

The trash train rolls through here WB full of stank as NS 11T. I think it goes to an Alabama land fill and the empty train NS 12T returns EB. The empty train stank is not as strong as the full one.

I see this train almost every day. I had no idea it was full of garbage until it crept through town on a speed restriction. The ISO intermodals have canvas covers strapped down tight and it stinks to high heaven. Stanky stank and it's only in the 60's. There's a waste to rail landfill in Alabama that receives waste from Northeastern cities. This train might be headed there.

Very cool video. I remember attending One Station Unit Training at Ft Knox Ky, lots of skunks there. One city boy mistook a skunk for a cat, with very sad results for said city boy recruit!

We've caught one pic of a raccoon months ago, but last night he stayed a while and did the seed bell dance. The camera is getting a lot of traffic due to the lack of available water and we provide them a free drink of clean water.

We have not had any rain in about 7 weeks so the water pans attract the wildlife.

Wow you did well! I've only fished the Hiwasse north of the Big bend from the shore. I bought a Hobie fishing kayak. Going to try this area for Bass fishing this fall. Maybe trout in the spring. I believe most are stocked and fall trout fishing is poor here?
