Excellent video. Thank you. Im no expert but I'd add that conflating a closed ETF with companies like amazon is not a fair comparison. The reason being, the etfs will hold whatever companies are within their charter and those compnies are focused on growing. The job of the ETF manager is to make good selections and their portfolio may contain amzn and nvda but may also include put options, straddles, etc at times to decrease downside risk. They may also sell covered calls on their holdings to increase yield. The closed etf gives you the benefit of exposure to the growth companies but lessens risk through diversificantion and active management. That said - not all etf managers are created equally and for some, their specialization may at times be facing a headwind. I personally would be careful about commercial real estate etfs right now for example.

Closed etfs have a team of experts managing for income with an eye towards lower risk than the average single growth company. It's apples and oranges.

I’m a bit of a fundamentalist when it comes to living with expectations. I am as imperfect as any and I share my thoughts on things, but I don’t seek recognition or credit for anything. I don’t care to leave any legacy beyond any wisdom, love and care I have imparted to my children and how I treated people while I was alive. Also, when ones priorities are focused on NEED, wants automatically fall into their proper place and time-and that time can be never. Accepting THAT, releives the anxiety around wants. Actively saying to oneself: “I want that thing”, “I want to do that thing” or “I want to have done that thing by a certain time” and then projecting ones thoughts to a future where those things aren’t realized and any possibility is zero-then accepting that should be an almost daily thought exercise. Our egos create unnecessary suffering and anxiety through expectations. The foundation of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs pyramid: Physiological, is the starting point that a lot of people overlook and tend to turn the pyramid on its head to try and start with the top- Self-actualization needs: the realization of a person’s potential, self-fulfillment, seeking personal growth, and peak experiences. This is bass ackwards! Trying to BECOME, before you’ve even meet the basic physiological needs of the pyramid’s foundation-not to mention the important levels of needs inbetween is a recipe for anxiety and suffering. No loving family member has ever said of a departed loved one: “Geez, I wished they had worked a little harder and left us more businesses and and resources and been recognized by the greater society for their personal accomplishments.” They will look back and think to how present and caring they were in their lives. ☯️

So just from title and intro .made me think of fight club . "Self improvement is masterbation " if you pick any system or any book. Buy the book and don't do any thing else till you've gotten the first goal done.. oops and thst basicly the second premise. Of your video .. . . Lol .. I've got a diferent type of self help solution. How can you tell if some one Is worth saving .. put them in a room and have 2 doors open at the same time.. one door is their vice. Sweet foods cocaine . Slut on a pole... the other door a real life loin.. if they still go for the drugs addiction.. or don't run away. Their beyond hope If they run . Make sure they don't get eaten becuase ovcously .. they still value life .. more than drugs and diejng. Ergo if you can visualize and make yourself believe a loin is about to eat you you can find the motivation most struggle finding 9:56 11:27

Hello sir, I saw your UA-cam channel and understand you are a UA-camr. Very nice video on your channel, I really enjoyed it. Only 54 subscribers and a Total of 198 Uploaded videos of your channel. I noticed one thing according to your channel your channel videos are not viewed and subscribed. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. If your channel is optimized a little and if the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. And monetization of your channel will be on. And If you want, I can do it I Can Guarantee to improve Subscriber and video views on any UA-cam channel with my experience I am waiting for your response

This is a wonderful podcast and just what I needed today. I came across Justin Dorff today on You Tube and I’ve watched a lot of his videos and they led me to this. Randy, you were just excellent and I loved the easiness between you and Justin. I have learned a lot today from Justin which I know will help me. I met a woman in the early 70’s who had a wonderful figure. I was slim at the time. But we were talking about weight and she said that she keeps track of her weight and if she goes up 5 lbs she doesn’t eat for three days. That seemed so strange to us and she had wisdom when wisdom had gone from the way we ate. It’s always stuck with me. I am now 74 and 40 - 50 lbs overweight. I did some low carb, some Keto and I have been trying Carnivore. I never stick to anything. I always fail. I’ve started Carnivore again today. I have been doing OMAD for about 1 1/2 years and it has helped me to keep my weight within a 3 lb weigh up or down. I have not eaten the right way at all. I am a widow so I just have myself. I loved cooking for my family but now I have no interest and that is why Carnivore attracts me. So easy, minimal cooking. However, as I was saying, I don’t eat right at all. My house is empty of anything that would be carbs. I do go pick up food basically every night and shamefully it is pizza, burgers and fries and a diet cola. I eat terribly and I can see it in my body. This last year I have gotten more wrinkles and two years ago people couldn’t believe my age. When they heard my age they would always say keep doing what your doing. Well, with eating the way I have been it’s just destroying me. I also have diabetes as well. So, this podcast was perfect. I have watched others that talk about intermittent fasting and this is by far the best and most informative and most helpful. I find it hard to because I go out with friends sometimes for meals and I eat the wrong thing. So, now with this great information and 5 days before I will be out for dinner with some friends I feel good about having this head start. I’m one that I fail and I just keep failing. It takes a lot for me to start again. I feel like things are looking up and I thank you both for this great guidance. Goodbye to 40-50 lbs. ❤️
