This is a very good design and also made in a good quality. What is the pitch of the spindel for the movement? Is it running well or do you need to much rpm?
There is no other word for but Beautiful. Absolutely fantastic machine. Perfect balance between heavy duty and not too over kill. Stick a brand on it and it could go into production
It might be just me but i think if you had went with a different engine you could cut the wood faster. Not that speed is always better but from other videos ive seen, a generator engine does not have enough rpms. Maybe you could adjust this one to have more rpms and you could cut faster saving on time. But this IS a hell of a mill.
Really like your saw design. Glad you went and done ah little different I’m building my own saw. Catching a little flack over the way I’m building it,but they will get over it. Thanks
This is VERY impressive. I've been mucking around trying to build one on and off for 2 years. It's much harder than I expected. Your build is amazing. Kind of wishing I'd just bought one but it's a very interesting experience.
And you earned your degree from where, as it's easy to see that you have a education in mechanical engineering, are at least a well started higher education at least. Not that it matters, but by the detailed drawings, and the amount of research you did in advance of your own design. At least in my mind, that's one of the conclusion that I believe to be the case, are your a very gifted person with a natural mechanical ability, as well as blessed that you had access to a nice home machine shop, and that person who is a perfectionist himself, that took his time to teach you his trade craft very well. carriage to ride upon. Have you chosen whether your going to make a fixed location, are make a mobile platform to mount it upon as of yet?
This is definitely one of the best DIY construction bills I've ever seen. It looks like it has been professionally built. 👍👍 I'm going to try my hand at building a sawmill, that's why I'm binge watching construction techniques.
That's pretty cool. I'm building a log cabin right now. Had a guy come out and cut some wood for me. I get this cabin done, my next project just might be a mill. I have plenty of logs to fix up. Not sure what I'll do with them. Good show.
Everything about this build is 1st class. Best I've seen
Everything is best but the blade changing system is difficult.
Nice do you have plans for it?
Best job I have seen, watched a lot of videos on band mills by far the best .
Shame there’s been no more follow up on this

Bana bunun çizimlerini gönderebilirmisin
Wow , beautiful! One thing though, there is the possibility to throw a blade out the side at 4200 ft/ min. See bigelow woodcraft. Thanks.
Nice job!
Clean brother!
Amazing build. Looks factory built.

You just might as well to put that in production and go into retirement. Thats the best diy sawmill ive seen so far
A beautiful build! Rather a shit video though. 🤷♂️
A lathe machine put the possibilities to another level...
Nice to see the details ! ...and good soundtrack to... 😜
Wow! Awesome project! 😉
Great Job! I would love to build something like this. Thanks for the inspiration.
Wow, that reverse blade guard design is genius! And the lifting system is great too. Really good solutions for all the adjustments needed on a mill.
Do you have plans? I would like to build one

Very nice build.
How much do you want for it?
Very nice build. I wouldn't want to actually use it and get it dirty though.
It doesn't look homemade great
Very nice build the mill looks great nice work. I'm wondering what size pulley wheels you used on the lifting to get 1/4 inch lift per turn.
Good looking mill
Do the v wheels want to veer off course or do the V's keep good track?

Awesome build!
Really cool. Somewhat similar to a Woodland mills sawmill.

That's a many bolts to unscrew just to change the blade...
man! like the professional look.......smooth like buyed but better because of not! 👍
Man you did a damn good job building your mill. Turned out great!
Where did you get the engine
Hi, i am from philippines, can you help me build a vaporblaster, what is your email?
What chemicals do you use in the Vapor Blaster?
No chemicals. Just ultra fine glass beads and water
Great build. Do you have Telegram? I have some questions 🙏
Yeah you have a really nice mill there! Would you give us a ballpark estimate of build time and cost for materials? Please.
Gary skowbo it cost roughly $2500CAD but I didn’t have to buy the engine
Very nice job. It looks factory made but it's probably better made than a factory made mill.
just amazing!!! well done!! nice motor!!
