Huh? 2023 is the LCI for the M340i. You can tell this by the new front and rear bumpers, headlights, updated curved screen in the interior...

He was probably thinking the ‘21s were the LCI because that’s when the B58 went mild hybrid with the 48V architecture. But in that dude’s defense I know plenty of BMW drivers and even car salesmen call their I6 a “V6” lmao

Both are great cars and you can't go wrong with either. While I loved the sound of the v8, it's ultimately too thirsty for me. For the most part, I made the switch bc the M340i is pretty much the same speed as the F stock for stock except it can do it while achieving nearly double the gas mileage. Also, the huge upgrade in tech swayed me. The F feels two generations behind. I also like the driving characteristics better in the M340 as it is also lighter and more nimble and handles better with tighter steering. One more reason like you said, is tuneability. Easier and cheaper to make big power. I had a 2016 340i LCI before the F and missed it. Hope this helps

@aus10li Nice. But remember you have a break in period till 1k miles keep it under 4500 rpm if u want the car to last and never burn oil mine already has 2.5k miles on it and is perfect thanks to a nice break inm

@aus10li how's the fitment just for axle back on the rcf? If you know, I've heard it has fitment issues, but when I see it on the F's, it looks fine 🤷‍♂️

Man I love our cars, but at the same time I'm considering getting an M340i LCI to replace the F. Love the way it looks and the new tech along with much better gas mileage and same performance. I'd love an M3 but I still can't get over the pig nosed grill and actually thinking the M340 LCI looks better. Coming from a 2016 340 before the F, I kinda miss having a Bimmer. Tough call...I've been thinking about making the change the past few months.

@@aus10li I tested an m4 last week, and I must say the handling is much superior to my Lexus is, infact the difference was between night and day what even impressed more it's the responsiveness and it's low end torque, my is500 reaches some certain rpms before it kicks in completely

@@aus10li get that m340i, meanwhile it's much faster than the F, one disappointment about the F is their heavy weight, only if Lexus could make them lighter, I've seen stock m340i hit 60 in 3.9 seconds stock without any tuning

@@Investor_philips Yeah I echo your sentiments on the handling and the virtually non-existent low end torque on our cars. I really am leaning towards the M340. It is just the superior car in almost every aspect. Yeah I think stock vs stock is comparable but one mod on the M340 and it's lights out for the F and it will do it while achieving 30 mpg lol

@@aus10li I'm telling you bruh, I just wish Lexus could just compete, because I can't phantom dropping $102k on an RCF and still getting gapped by a $50k mk5 supra or being neck and neck with a $45k mustang gt, because for that price point I can get an M4 for such price and will still be faster on the track and on the straights

@@aus10li yeah I love the LC but the GSF has a special place in my heart. Used to have an 06 GS430 with the 4.3L V8 as well, so I really love the GS line.

I still like the stock wheels too but after 3+ years, it was time for a change

It’s just a camera effect by product. It’s due to shutter speed.

It's when LED meet the 4k mode on camera. It can be fixed (1)by lovering it to 1080p or less,(2) or i think maybe just playing with the fps unitil it doesn't flicker. Something between those two. Try it with your phones camera...
