I was thinking of coming here by bike sometime this year, it’ll be my first time in a bothy, actually my first ever time camping alone, I was wondering if it’s practical bringing a bike along? Or just walk it?
Must be a lot of human shit around
Absolutely brilliant video matt, planning my trip for a chilly mid December. Can't wait
Have you invented a new language. Get help with the pronunciation of welsh place names, please, please, please.
Good
❤ Ever run into Bear, Wolves, Sasquatch, or some call Bigfoot? ❤
I had a 3 hour fist fight with a Big foot in wales back in 1983 out in the middle of nowhere when I was young and fit. We called it a draw and then both went out separate ways all torn and bloody
Excellent adventure. Thank you for sharing.
Who wouldn't want to stay overnight at wooden fack?
Awesome video new sub here
Every time I see Brecon I just get flash backs of my time in the infantry and come out in cold sweats lol
@nick garner they say you can't smell a picture but I smell smoke grenades and damp and range stew lol was late 2000s for me ended up with a nasty tick bite when down there doing live fire manoeuvres and bayonet training lol good times tho
Over here in Australia and New Zealand whenever you stay in a hut/place like this it is customary to sweep the floor and give it a general clean before you leave. I can see no one has done that there for a considerable time, real shame you people have no respect for this type of place
Been there, done that. AWESOME place to stake out.
I was born near the beacons.. what a place
Love those shots of the "Brec's" very similar to many places in Wyoming, Nevada and Colorado
brecons and no rain how did you pull that one off.
Nice one! So peaceful!
Damn that cvd stopping you going outside into the fresh air!
See he supports a proper rugby team 🏉🐯
My first time watching your video and I am hook
The question of Arctic Russia as well: Can someone explain to me why the British are making an external pipe at the furnace? Why does the pipe protrude from the back wall? After all, it's heat loss!
The pipe will go outside to exhaust the smoke. Yes perhaps it could extend further up into the "upstairs" but will have been fitted retrospectively so probably taken the easiest option as builders tend to do.
Your pronunciation is so poor ha ha! Not to worry, enjoy Wales, such a beautiful place, and such beautiful interesting people too. I love them.
Dreadful place. My sheds better than. That. I would not stay in a place like that
Really cool it is the fruit of a responsible country, looks like fun. In America it would probably be pissed in and burned
This was so... BRITISH. I mean, the guy is sweet in a very English way. The little brick telephone booth (bothy?) was cute. The little puddle of water that he tried to dip his pale and hairy body looked nice. But go winter survival camping in Canada in -28C and then talk to me. I remember decades ago this well-mannered English boy joined our Venturers troop and on our first long weekend camping trip in February where the plan was to spend a long weekend in a snow cave, Simon (or Desmond, or Percival) showed up with a suitcase at the departure point. Not a backpack. And in it, was a small portable clothes iron. And this reminded me of that. "I wasn't prepared" he says at the end, but the dear snaggle toothed lad did at least bring a squashed croissant. Les anglais. J'en reviens pas.
Tall tales. Closest you've come to winter survival is shitting your pants at Christmas Dinner 2016 (if you know you know ;)
@@Bisshead You snide little snot. I haven't ever sat down to a Christmas dinner much less one in 2016 as I am Jewish. Now make some anti-Semitic sneer, why don't you?
It’s harsh enough for the best special forces in the world to do selection…
@@scottyp1348 Indeed? I thought they trained in the Highlands - which sure looked pretty wild and rugged to me.
Your about 550 miles and ten hours in a car away mate
Which country is filmed in?
