Mallet finger? 😢
Justine thank you for being you ❤❤❤❤❤you are an inspiration to us all ❤❤
@@carolinehood106 thank you x
Love your blog. Please keep it up. Love Bert and ernie and the goats 🐐.
Justine, you are so inspirational to us 'slightly' more mature riders (I am 56 😱) please do not beat yourself up, you have done so amazingly well this season, Brody has come on leaps and bounds, he is still young and excited about his job, which is brilliant. Keep your chin up and thank you for posting this, I have had a 'testing' year, it is so difficult to keep positive, but lets keep the flag flying and prove that riders who are perhaps not as young as we once were can do this. Love the videos of your animals and the hunt too, please keep posting and take care❤
Vertigo is the most mind blowing thing - I’ve had it a couple of times as a result of a low-lying virus I didn’t know I had. I’m so glad for you that you didn’t get to go forward in the event as it’s much better for you and Brody that you were firmly grounded. Looking forward to seeing your partnership develop next year. I’m a gardener and that’s a common refrain on gardening channels “well, there’s always next year’! Excited to see your posts on the hunting season!
You’re such an inspiration Justine! Love your content, just one blip I’m sure you can reach the top again! ! Looking forward to seeing you at Badminton and Burghley
Loved the vlog, even if it wasn't your "day" at the competition. Especially loved the bit of you wandering around with Super Groom saying "hay nets!" - just showing the real life of it all. Love that pink coat - you should wear that more - really suits you! For the rest, well, you are an inspiration regardless if you're top or bottom. Keep having fun and filming for us out here. (And I definitely think you deserve a G&T after all of that nonsense!). Thanks for everything!
@@andreamurison7225 I think this is my favourite comment so far ❤️
I've had vertigo before, I passed out in our kitchen and nearly took out my grandma cos I almost landed on her. It's a horrible thing to have.
☘️🐎☘️🐎☘️🐎☘️🐎☘️🐎☘️🐎☘️🐎💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Take a break hunny ,as we are of a certain age we have to look after ourselves xxx
A sh*t day out for sure but it will make the next good day feel even better. Enjoy the hunting and onwards and upwards. ❤
I wanted to reach out to you because I am almost 56 and just started riding again after not being on a horse for 24 years! I owned my own when I was younger did some shows and competitive trail rides. Your videos inspire me to keep riding although I've only been to lessons once, but plan to do some more. It's really way different riding now v.s. 31 years old lol. I'm sorry that you fell ill during this competition. I just think it's amazing that you continue to do competitions. You inspire me, thank you! ☮️♥️
@@yogaandmeditationwithcatherine oh that’s wonderful to hear keep it up xx
@justinewardeventing thank you!
I agree with what so many have already said here. You're fun, real and awesome. That's why we're all following you! I'd personally love to be one of your students and be part of your life. It's so full!Rightfully acknowledge the disappointment but "crack on" as you say.😉 What would have been a real downer is if you'd had a 22 in dressage! Looking forward to your next vlog.❤
Bless you Justine! I hope you're feeling better now? I love your vlogs and admire your strength and determination, as well as your equestrianism and guts! Please don't be too hard on yourself, everyone has days where things just don't go to plan! There was nothing you could have done about how the day turned out and the best thing is that both you and Brody can do it all again next year, which I'm so looking forward to! All the best with big hugs to you and Brody xx
@@nikkicook4993 thank you
I just wanted to give you a hug! it was a sad end to a brilliant season. To be honest you should have just said I don't want to revisit this for the vlog so I'm not going to. Take my hat off to you for doing so and being so bloody honest, but anyone who knows you also knows that. 2025 onwardsx
Thank you 😘
Your are super - do not doubt yourself or, let’s face it, there is no bloody hope for the rest of us !! Love your vids .. thank you .
You are and always will be amazing ❤
@@tammykes359 thank you x
Aww Justine Vertigo is horrible. Get to the GP and get some Prochlorperazine 5mg prescribed - if you haven’t already. I have intermittent attacks, fairly infrequently to be honest. Stress or turning myself upside down or illness usually sets it off. I just take those tablets with me wherever I go, I go months without using them but always have them just in case. They kick in within an hour and sort me out 😊
Vertigo is horrid! I've had it twice and I never want it again Thanks for the vlog
You are still my inspiration. Don’t be too hard on yourself.
I think you are fantastic Justine. Brody looked amazing in the warm up for the dressage. Never saw him move as nicely before. Really unlucky with the noise just before the start of your dressage test. If you had been able to go cross country and show jumping you would have climbed a mile up the leader board as you and Brody can jump anything. Roll on next season you and Brody will be amazing.
Oh no! But you and Mr Brody are both going to be ready for next season! ❤❤❤
Don't knock yourself. Just lift your hands, look up and ride on!!!! Least you stayed in the arena and stayed on. I got an anonymous mention in Horse and Hound once because my show horse deposited the ride judge at a big show, so at least it wasn't as embarrassing as that! :)
Justine it was the spook ,no way can you ride with vertigo terrible condition I’ve had it ,it shakes you up mentally, mine comes and goes ,could have had a serious accident.Brody look stunning so did you ,onwards young lady be kind to yourself lovely lady look at the improvement in you both it’s astonishing.❤❤❤❤❤❤Well done 🎉🎉🎉🎉 xx.
A real shame about your setbacks. But it made for a good video. No consolation I know but you’ll both be back out there ready for action next year stronger than ever! 💪
These things can’t be helped. The blow up at the beginning is just bad luck, Whether the gel was responsible for some of his reaction or not. We spend so much time and effort getting there, getting ready and think we are prepared, it’s just soul destroying when things like this happen. I’ve had an inner ear infection and the vertigo is awful! I thought I’d had a stroke! Don’t be so hard on yourself you are indeed an inspiration to us! Especially us older ladies who aspire to be like you! I love the tape on the broken finger! Many times done the same! Nothing as tough as horse women!
I believe Brodie felt you were off on dressage day. You looked stunning in your shad belly and new helmet!! So sorry you had vertigo-that is the worst! You and Brodie are amazing when you are both feeling well .
I hope you are doing well now. You have an amazing personality, you are an inspiration to many people 🙂! We wish you strenght and good health. Keep doing what you do! Greetings from southern Poland!
Wow greeting to you in Poland
omw, that looks incredibly painful!!!! Try to look at things this way - your opening meet will be spectacular in comparison and will boost your future events! Hang in there and be good to yourself, you deserve it!
It's entirely possible that you were starting to become ill even prior to the dressage. My heart ached for you. I'm sixty and although I don't go eventing, I do have a big, feisty horse. You are not too old. Plus, I have read that when you get older, a little bit of extra padding is good for your health.
Just wanted to let you know, you have inspired me to ride in my 50's. I love watching you and your 'stunning handsome boy' P.s Love the new hair. Sally
@@Sally-jb3tt excellent news about the riding keep up the good work xx
oh Justine! I cant imagine how that felt, happening at such an important event! But I do get the dressage, and much the same, I pride myself on a half decent dressage, well I had my first last place after dressage this year too... it certainly brings up mixed emotions and we need to lean on our people. It's just another part of horses, you'll bounce back, you're such an inspiration, and I love to see how you go regardless. You both looked fabulous, and I can't wait to see what next season holds for you! ❤
A rough patch, but opportunities ahead for you. I hope you are feeling much better now and all healed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Brody, your cute animals, and your riding experiences.
Love yr vlogs regardless but do hope u get well soon ❤
Bless you, Justine. Firstly, you looked so glamorous with your haircut. Your hair is fabulous. Secondly, Brody looks awesome - wow👏👏👏 Thirdly, I am gutted for you that things didn't pan out at the Event. Brody looked spectacular. Vertigo is ghastly. Fourthly - your poor hand - I did love the gaffer tape - you are so down to earth, but it looked incredibly painful😢. Finally - you are such an inspiration. You must have worked so very hard to get where you are. I guess you have helped so many equestrians along the way - Lucy is one I have seen. 2025 offers you & Brody a fantastic opportunity of showing us all exactly what you can achieve together. Please be kind to yourself. Can't wait to see your vlogs - your 'menagerie' is glorious & always makes me smile❤
Vertigo is horrible, had it a couple of times, what with that and the broken knuckle, feeling poorly, and broken little finger - not surprised you've felt down! Absolutely no need to apologise. I aways enjoy your vlogs so take care, get fully recovered, and thank you for being such a real and lovely human.
I'm disappointed you didn't do the cross country but considering how sick you were it would have been dangerous. We all have a big 'downer day' now and then and it's okay to feel defeated... but not for too long! I still enjoyed this video and seeing Brody and some of your other critters having their best life. I look forward to future videos.
REALLy enjoyed this vlog, warts and all. I love supergroom with her check list and quality control. What a gem … and you looked amazing . Despite the outcome a winning team in my opinion .
Justine you are amazing onwards and upwards and look forward to next year where you and Brody will be epic ❤
Sorry it wasn't the end to the season you was wanting but don't beat yourself up. Vertigo is horrible, I know how you felt 😔. Keep doing what you do 💪 I'm nearly 61 and it's so hard when your body doesn't do what it used to. You are an inspiration and a tough cookie, I know you'll bounce back 💜
BravO Justine, All is always perfect, you did so well this year , you are doing amazingly, huge leaps forward, climbing back into international events, there are bound to be hiccups onbthe way, as you work your way back up that ladder, your mind and body paces you where your spirit is moving too fast, Temperance and small steps .. you will get there again 💜🙏💜
Go well and enjoy Justine, take care and look forward to next season.
Never too old!!
keep being you Justine, you are an inspiration, i just love everything you do, your lifestyle is the dream xx
Such a shame to end the season that way but you've got so much to look back on and be positive about. We love your vlogs and really looking forward to seeing hunting ones this winter 😊
Justine ,I addmeryou for sharing all you do ,, good luck with all your planes for next year . Hopefully you are doing o.k. now . Take care and all the best . 😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍🐶
I thought you Brits were masters of understatement! Disastrous would be a broken leg for Brody. A disappointing dressage test and rider illness, while sad, is not disastrous. You still have your incredible horse, and have regained health. Please look back over your entire season and how well you guys did and advanced up levels. Your viewers are supporting you and cheering you on, and we’ve all had our share of disappointment and shitty days. Have fun hunting and blog as you wish.❤️
You were so hard on yourself on this Vlog. You are so brave normally. You can't help being poorly. Don't dwell on this. Look forward to next season. Thank you for your honesty. You are human.
Your both safe and sound thats what counts ...onwards..looking forward to update on your horses vlog ..
oh poor you, I hope you're doing better!! you are an inspiration to so many of us, especially us who are of the older generation :)
