Back For The Attack - A Short History Of Dokken
Don Dokken would form Dokken in 1981 after he signed a recording contract with Carrere Records. Joining him would be George Lynch on guitar, Jeff Pilson on bass and Mick Brown on drums. They would be the quintessential 1980's glam metal band with big hair, easy on the eye looks, catchy tunes and a smoking hot lead guitarist. The rock star lifestyle with all it's trappings would be the undoing of this iconic band when substance and alcohol abuse was only rivaled by the internal squabbles between band members over song writing credits and royalties. The internal strife would become so bad that Don Dokken would pull the plug in March 1989. Personal animosity between Dokken and Lynch however has left lasting damage and the lack of reconciliation between them has prevented the classic line up from re-uniting. Both and Dokken and Lynch are very adamant that there will never be a reunion of the classic line up again. Mick Brown retired from the music industry in 2019 and of recent Don Dokken had some serious health issues. Join me now as we look at the history of this iconic band.

I decided to do another short video on a guitar technique that many beginner guitarists struggle with. Pinch Harmonics. In the video I give a brief explanation on how to execute this technique.
You Shook me All Night Long - A brief history of AC/DC

Love them or Hate them! AC/DC has been setting the musical world on fire since 1973. They took the world by storm after they were unleashed upon Britain in 1976. Their distinctive style has been called everything from blues rock to heavy metal over the years. The band still prefer to call it good old Rock 'n'' Roll. What is a fact is that both Angus Young and his older brother Malcolm are super...
Abysmal Guitarist - Worship Jamtrack In A Minor
Переглядів 43Рік тому
A fun Worship jam in A minor. I had fun recording this and there are a few off key notes . I used my trusted 1997 Ibanez S270(JB) and my old faithful Boss OD2 R Turbo Overdrive with my NUX Mighty 50 modelling amp. The worship track was on UA-cam. The video was made with Video Guru. Check it out in Google's Play store. I used a Hisense E60 phone to record the video Have fun. Thanks for Watching ...

Happy New Year to all my viewers! This is my first video for the new year and I'm hoping to make a lot more this year. The jam was played on my new home built RG. I'm impressed with the instrument. I'd love to hear what you think of the guitar. Please bare with me. I'm still tinkering with the format of the videos. Speaking of videos, this video was recorded on my Hisense E60 smartphone and edi...

My apologies for the crap sound. I recorded the video with Video Guru on my cellphone and only realized it sounded like crap when I viewed it on PC. And so we learn! The videos will get better with time. New content o...

Abysmal Guitarist Intro

Welcome to my channel where I make one hell of a racket with a cheap amp, cheap guitar and a cheap FX pedal. I jam along to jam tracks found on YT and generally have fun without breaking the bank or try to be too serious. Trolls beware! Abysmal levels of playing ahead! LOL!

Musical differences more than ego, Don wrote breaking the chains and then when pilson and Lynch were involved it got heavier but just way better, I'm a Lynch guy all day, I think he's a legend, he carved his own unique style into guitar just like all the greats and to this day he's absolutely playing unreal and it's awesome to see

I'm a Lynch fan boy too. He's got a a very distinct style. And yes...! He and Don were at loggerheads from the early days. I just think it got worse as they got bigger.

A bunch a of brilliant musicians who imploded due to egos, drugs and alcohol. Why do you think Dokken folded?
