She takes off and I get an alert that she is far enough away that she is not with owner. Her recall is really good and a couple whistles and she is right back with me.

February 5, 2024 Scared walking away from the house. Constantly looking backwards. On the way back she is a pulling machine. Realizations that leash walking needs to be under control or she will be unwalkable. Thank goodness she is so smart! But not yet. Lets get some walks under our belt first.

February 5, 2024 This is when I knew she was going to be easy to train. Biggest obstacle is her fear of the outdoors. Any noise she hears drives her over the edge. She showed some excitement on our walk home but I didn't catch it on camera.

February 5, 2024 This was a huge victory. Hard to tell on video but pulling is not as stressed (she is learning I don't want her to do that) and we walked to the end of the road. Good day!

February 9th 2024 I previously tested letting the leash go when we got back from our walk, guessing (and hoping) that I could catch her if I had to. There was no need. Her recall is awesome. She stops and comes right to me when I call her. If she gets scared, that may be a different story. Baby steps. Inside routine and her excitement when I am home. We need to work on jumping.
