Indeed. When a partner abuses the one he/she had vowed to love and care for, there is at the least a fracturing of the vow/covenant that was made when they entered in to marriage. When a partner breaks the covenant of fidelity to his/her spouse, the covenant is broken. When this happens in a marriage, who's heart is it that is hardened: The faithful spouse or the unfaithful. In my wife's life, her first "husband" was being grossly unfaithful completely throughout the marriage, throughout from engagement on. Grossly so. He had entered completely dishonest about his fidelity, and unrepentedly so throughout. He boasted about his unfaithfulness. And he told me about it all from his very tongue. Was that a marriage? was that a 1+1=1. In his eyes it as more like XXX + 1= 1. His wife never agreed to anything like that. She eventually put an end to her involvement by "putting away" the fornicator/adulterer. What was it that God hated? It was that he had so grossly twisted what should have been a 1+1 union. It was barbaric, and God hated it. (Malachi) The real question regarding Malachi’s statement is: What is it that God is revealing that He hates? Is it the sin that does the damage or the resulting damage that is done by the sin? The answer I believe is right there in the context that God reveals to us. To separate this from the context and condemn the spouse that was faithful for the mortal wounding that he/she received is I believe twisted by the liar and enemy, Satan.

One body one gospel The gospel is the gospel of the kingdom! Jesus is going to return and set up the kingdom of God ON THE EARTH! God’s government ON THE EARTH! The Messiah died for his people! God resurrected the Messiah! The Messiah will resurrect his people at his coming! The destiny of the Messiah and his people is to be ON THE EARTH! The renewed restored earth! God also dwelling with them! Rev 21 Matt 24 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Jesus said the Father is the only true God! John 17 3 And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.
