John Smith hold is good. same as the regular hold. I have thicker hair so I use a few sprays of the hair spray to lock it in

Jay Dog the Dark Run scent is legit! I really am digging it a lot. the unscented works really good as well, I use that one a few times a month ✌🏽

Jay Dog got ya! the hold will be just fine. the oil based one they make has a good scent as well but you can always mix it up with others if you choose

Rudy Hernandez I’ve done both and both work well. I usually comb my hair after I shower and i’ll dry it a bit with a blow dryer before. but if I had to choose I would always pick having my hair damp over dry

David Montez Awesome man! I just got the Social D firme and the premium blends. I have really thick and somewhat curly hair (depends on how long my hair is) so I hope the premium blends work well for me.

Rudy Hernandez I feel ya! when my hair gets longer I get waves. the premium blend is good. I like the mix of the water/oil pomade...just make sure your hair is damp before and get a good comb...you’ll be just fine

duckcluck123 the firme hold and strong hold are the same product. there is a difference between the firme hold and the original hold. the strong hold is more of sturdy one...curly, thick stubborn hair or if you want a harder look etc pomp! hope this helps ✌🏽

wildemir enrique what ive done is take a flat iron to my hair before to straighten it out a bit first. but if you have slightly dap hair and use the right amount you will get the look you want from it. the longer my hair gets the oil based works good on a slick back for me

@@davidmontez1665 The scent is described as a Chi Spice scent, its a perfect winter/Christmas scent. My other favorite is the 2014 or 2015 spring edition, I can't exactly remember what year it was but the pomade had a Irish spring scent...
