All of them sound very buzzy. I would blame microphone distortion but they are plugged in directly. I like the looks of the last one, Jazz Classic, but I don't like the buzzy noise of any of them. The Equester buzzed the least, and sounded the most like an acoustic, but none of them had the same fluid natural sound of an acoustic.

How is posibile with original zeta?

Zetta is the best, do not try to compare it with other types. Though wood sv5 its a bitt close to Zetta. Hmmm that is why Zetta is the most expensive electric violin.

Which piazo pickup was atached with acoustic bts violin. Ple tell brand and model name.

The sound is quite different with each of these violins! I was quite impressed. Thank you for taking the time to record this. I have been personally a fan of the BTS pickup. I first heard it on a TF Barrett violin, and have rated all other violins with respect to that. So I Believe the BTS pick up is highly underrated in this comparison. It's still depends upon the craftsmanship of the violin. Not just in play-ability. But there is a certain tone to that solid chunk of what ever that definitely donates sound coming out the amp.

The violinist is so-so, therefore the violins sound bad. And the acrylic violin is just nonsense. WOOD is like a double-sided ax. It sounds the same. Already make a violin from a tram rail in the shape of an army boot with a pickup from BARBERA only. Also call a violin, and try to convince that it sounds like a Stradivarius violin ...

They all need reverb/ambience.

At least one of those is MIDI which makes an "apples to apples" comparison not very useful.

Never heard of the Equester before, and it does sound good. They're relatively inexpensive on ebay.com, but the maker does not accept returns, which is worrisome. The Wood sounds awful. They always do.

I have an equester and a fender fv-3. Yeah the equester is great and different. The fender is great too. The electrics i had in the past all wood and custom were all a little different and great in there own right. I must say though in this video i like the equester tone best

How much does it weigh?

Wood or equester I like the look of zeta but I'd 100% smash that thing... reminds me of a freaking mosquito attacking my ear.

Should do the comparison with same strings. Comparing the BTS with helicores to the Equester with *generic steel core* is simply not fair! Anyways, I like the sound of the Zeta and the BTS best, on this little laptop speaker. The Equester saounds very very good. The Wood sounds phony, simply fake.

What was YOUR conclusion?

I honestly think that each violin is different either in the way it plays or sound wise. Equester is indeed a very nice and different sounding violin.

They all have a very similar sound :) i like the eqjester for this unique ice design. It looks great on stage and also have a great sound

I think the Equester sounds the best to me. I have an antique acoustic violin and an Equester violin. I love my Equester, and would recommend it to anyone looking into an electric violin.
