Thank you for sharing your story! We found out we have vasa previa following our 20 week scan. The wait for our 28 week scan and appointment are seeming like the longest and loneliest 8 weeks ever!

In my 21st weeks anatomy scan they predicted that I have Vasa Previa and it seems very scary on google. But Dr didn’t ask me for any precautions and said it’s too early to predict it. What I should do and shouldn’t do I don’t have idea but i feel so worried.

I was misdiagnosed with a molar pregnancy on Friday. I sobbed when she told me, even though she never said it was for sure, she kept saying “I think it’s-“ or “it’s looking like a molar pregnancy”… so after I sobbed my way home, I sat realizing she has no idea what she’s talking about. Sadly I still miscarried Sunday-today, however this afternoon after another ultrasound pre-D&C, and after waiting to undergo my procedure, they literally lied me on the operating table… only for the doctor to walk in and say, “molar pregnancy? Wait why are you here, you don’t need this! This is not a molar pregnancy, what????”… i held my hands next to my widely open mouth, with no tears left to cry at this point. I was right. FOLLOW YOUR INTUITION LADIES!!! 🔊🔊🔊Get that MF’CKIN SECOND OPINION !!!!🔊🔊🔊 okay rant over. And to all my molar pregnancy and ladies who’re going through miscarriage or any misdiagnosis, remember, we as women were taught to always trust in men, so when our inner voice is screaming we often times shut it up, gaslighting ourselves telling ourselves no way, that voice is crazy; lean into it!!!!! Please!!!! I’m so glad I did and I’m so glad I got that second ultrasound. They almost forgoed it!!!

Girl! I just got diagnosed molar and sobbed my eyes out over and over, yet something is telling me they’re wrong. The nurse practitioner didn’t sound sure, and I didn’t see “bubbles” on my ultrasound. They also only took my blood today, for the first time yet scheduled the D&C, and I can’t help but desire another opinion. Also I’m only just reaching 6 weeks, so to not be able to see something clearly yet is normal… and my hcg has so far never exponentially increased (like those who have molar pregnancies where it more than doubles)…. I just don’t think they’re right. I feel it in my soul. God I hope I’m right.

I’m 38 weeks today. I was told I had a narrow cervix. This is my first. Had my first check yesterday and she said likely a 1 but she couldn’t tell cause I was so narrow and said I need a c section? I don’t want one. Any advice??

I have 3 kids and I have never gone in n to labor on my own. The hospital gave me extra two weeks after my due date but nothing until am induced. Am with baby number 4 and would like to go in to labor by myself.

WOW! My sister has PCOS, had a "molar pregnancy" (had a D and C.. very sad) AND just had a benign brain tumor removed. WOW! Is there a connection? ..wonder is she should have gotten a second opinion.

I had vasa previa as well. It was undiagnosed so I had my baby girl all natural at 38 weeks &5 days... my doctor had no idea what vasa previa was and he had been a doctor for 50+ years. I'm new to UA-cam and just posted a video but do not know how to edit videos at all so I did. But I found im the only person who had baby naturally which I 100% do not recommend. It was so dangerous.

I fully agree that giving first time moms postpartum care items should be normalized. *Especially* first time moms. I put postpartum care items on my baby registry and nobody got them and I WISH they had. Yes baby stuff is cute.. but mom matters too. Your body goes through a lot. My one ride or die product has been the AER brand witch hazel pads. I do *not* like frida moms cooling perineal foam

Thank you for these videos. I was diagnosed with Vasa Previa last week. I have been processing and trying to sort through the emotions that it brought while also being fearful of looking up info online. I so appreciate your honest and straight forward details and hearing of your success story. My pregnancy is my second. I have a 19 month old at home as well and I feel both scared about my sons situation and scared about leaving my daughter to be hospitalized. Especially in a world that still holds visiting restrictions, meanwhile feeling like a ticking time bomb. This sucks and I appreciate knowing your story. So.... Thank you for sharing your story and helping me start to process this all.

Great video! I've had 2 VBACS and hoping to have a third with this baby. Finding a supportive practice and hospital is so important. We moved but I still go to my old doctor that is an hour away because it's so hard to find practitioners that are supportive of VBACs in my area. I'll try the lunch trick, although, I'm a little concerned the stuff we make for lunch will get soggy, however, even making lunches for two days would cut down on the workload. Thank you so much for this informative video! I'm currently 5 months pregnant and was diagnosed with Vasa Previa at 13 weeks. How did you manage to deliver at 36 weeks, and also at how many weeks were you admitted before delivering? My OB mentions to deliver at 34 weeks but I don't want that.

I have suspected velamentous cord insertion and at my 32 week appointment yesterday and a ultrasound they had asked if I had an internal ultrasound at any point in my pregnancy as there now concerned I may have Vasa previa! Having a ultrasound today to have a look... I found your video and thank you for posting your experience I can't find alot of information out there about VP!

Tips from a person who's been trying to conceive for 5+ years with only miscarriages, my gyno told me that people with PCOS (I myself have it) cannot accurately test for ovulation using ovulation tests because our LH is all over the place due to our ovaries constantly overworking themselves. Due to this, she told me and my hubs to start using BBT or cervical mucus to figure out whether or not I am ovulating. Since then however I've been put on medication that helps my body regularly ovulate and we will be trying to conceive again soon ❤️ Best wishes to you ❤️
