Welcome to Scenic Drifters 🌟
Hey all! We are James & Katie Freund. Our journey began with a shared desire to break free from the routine of the 9-5 grind. We both felt a calling to explore the world, and to share its breathtaking beauty with everyone. The mundane life was not for us; we craved adventure, discovery, and the joy of being in new places.
Driven by this passion, we decided to turn our travels into something more meaningful. Armed with our cameras and an insatiable curiosity, we started capturing each place we visited so that we could share them with others!
That's when we started putting our photos to work by using them on t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, mugs, and everything in between. Each design is a piece of our journey, a snapshot of the places that have left a mark on our hearts.
Alongside our merchandise, we share documentary-style videos on Instagram, Facebook, and UA-cam, giving you a glimpse into the stories behind each design.

Explaining Sedona's Weird Energy Hotspots
Are these energies real, or just part of Arizona’s quirky charm?
This video explores the mystical side of Sedona, a place known not only for its striking landscapes but also its powerful energy vortexes.
We dive into the history and significance of Sedona’s famous energy spots like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Boynton Canyon, The Birthing Cave, and the spiritual pull of the Chapel of the Holy Cross. The video takes you on a journey to understand the masculine and feminine energies associated with these places, and what it means for those seeking healing, balance, or deeper spiritual experiences.
Chapter 1 starts by setting the stage with Arizona's connection to crystals and energy, using historical and geological perspectives. Then, Chapter 2 introduces Sedona’s famed vortex locations, delving into the types of energy-masculine, feminine, or a balance of both-found at each spot, including Bell Rock, Boynton Canyon, and the Birthing Cave.
Speaking of the Birthing Cave, Chapter 3 takes us on a hike to this intriguing location, blending humor with a bit of Sedona’s mystical vibe. The conversation here turns a bit light-hearted but still focuses on the deeper connection to the feminine energies believed to flow from this special place.
In Chapter 4, the video shifts to faith, focusing on the Chapel of the Holy Cross and its iconic history. We explore how belief in energy vortexes relates to faith, and how the Chapel serves as a meeting point for different spiritual experiences-from the traditional Catholic faith to the esoteric beliefs tied to Sedona’s landscape.
Finally, in Chapter 5, the video wraps up by reflecting on the connections between faith and spirituality. Whether you’re seeking healing, insight, or a sense of belonging, Sedona’s vortexes and landmarks offer visitors more than just pretty views-they invite introspection and personal growth.
If you've ever wondered why people flock to Sedona to meditate, pray, or just soak in the energy, this video aims to explore both the magic and mystery behind Arizona’s energy obsession.

nobody is perfect. keep it up and thanks.
Your videos are on point brother. Research, cinematography and your narrating. Channel should grow fast! Jerome is one of the gems of Arizona and love cruising through on my Harley or taking the jeep to slow down for some cool exploration. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much my man - we appreciate it more than you know! It was so much more than I expected honestly - im glad we took the day to explore it!
when the anasazi arrived from a southward direction they drove out a lot of the cliff dwellers and pueblo peooples who were already there by raids and taking people as slaves. all according to Navajo traditional teachings.
I live just below Jerome in cottonwood. Jerome is one of my favorite places in Arizona.
Cottonwood isnt too bad either! lol
Loved watching the video! Every time I do, I learn something new. Can’t wait for the next one!
Love it..great job!
Please keep in mind that the Death Cave story is fiction. A great tale, but it simply never happened.
Fantastic!!!
European people...European people happened to them.
wrong, this was well before that. brainwashed
Sin-a-goo-a? I think you mean Sin-awe-wa
It's not much of a mystery about who lived there and what happened to them. Its pretty simple, they moved. These ruins were built and then abandoned by the ancestors of the contemporary Pueblo people who now live in similar houses in New Mexico and Arizona. You were so close to visiting the Hopi villages 60 miles north of Winslow Arizona, the Zuni and Acoma people just south of Gallup New Mexico and the Puebloan villages from Taos in the north to Isleta in the south along the Rio Grande. Some of these villages were contemporaneous with some of the ruins you saw. And if you liked Tuzigoot and Montezuma Castle, you'd love Chaco Canyon National Historic Site in New Mexico which is a huge complex of ruins one of which was five stories and covers an area the size of the Colosseum. When my wife who is Hopi was asked by a tourist once about what happened and where did these people disappear to, she replied with a smile on her face, "here I am".
You oversimplified the question. Explain why and when if you know everything .
@@EZLivin-zk4gm I don't know everything but I do know what I know. The comment section is not really designed for presenting a class in southwestern archaeology. The knowledge I presented was based on spending 50 years living at Hopi who are among the descendants of the ancestral Puebloans in the southwest, hanging with archaeologists, reading a lot of up to date archaeology, visiting hundreds of southwest sites, etc. If you're really interested in my comment, visit your local library and do some reading about southwest archaeology and next time you're in AZ or NM, visit some of the contemporary Pueblos and as many of the National Monument archaeological sites as you can.
I love this!! Learned so much and the pictures are beautiful ❤️
Now you know what that ivory means to an elk hunter.
Growing up in Colorado I've hunted elk all my life. I never carried a rifle attached to a tri-pod though. I would bet it makes that rifle heavy.
Hunted most of my younger years. I still remember the first time my dad taught me how to shoot a .22 rifle at 5. With three children of my own now, I think it's so important to pass on the skills and knowledge to my children, but most importantly, enjoying spending time together outdoors.
I hunted for the first time October 2023 for cow elk In AZ (after applying for a permit for 7 years). Worked my tail off for 6+ days and got my elk on the 7th day right before it was too late (and dark). So emotional … I cried many times that week but more so when I got her. The meat is amazingly good. Got drawn again this year and looking forward to it.
Awesome we all know what your are talking about when you said first kill.. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 now it’s time to put in for a bull hunt! 👌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💪🏽🙌🏽
This video is so well done it is crazy! I can tell you put lots of time into the hunt and a lot of time editing this to create this amazing hunt in a way for us to watch! Much appreciated! Thank you!
Awesome!!
Thank you very much!
Congratulations great shot and awesome video Father and Daughter
Thank you so much! Its really all about the journey - we are just happy that we could memorialize it for them for years to come!
So you went from shooting a muzzle loader to a high powered rifle
Nope! We went from a Thompson Center Omega to a CVA Paramount after I broke the scope on the T/C Omega lol - both Muzzle loader rifles, just different designs.
Congratulations!!!
Thank you so much! 😀
Well done! It's an awesome feeling to take your first animal.
We appreciate it more than you know! It's for sure sparked a lifelong passion.
Wow. I love my daughters, too, but listening to her bitch Dad out whle she's crying because she missed? While he's doing everything he can to help her and fascilitate her success? That was tough to listen to. What a patient man. She's lucky HE'S willing to hold that relationshop together.
Congrats
Thank you! :)

@@scenicdrifters You're welcome! What was the most memorable part of the hunt for you? It must have been an unforgettable adventure!
This is by far one of your best videos yet. Keep up the fantastic work! 🌟
Thank you! We will try!
congrats. i am going for elk in October in Az. cannot wait to go after seeing your video.
Let us know how it goes! We got our fingers crossed for you! :)
Congratulations on your first successful hunt, I've been giving elk and deer meat to my sister and niece's since they were little and they loved it, but now that there grown up the thought of actually hunting and killing for themselves is to much for them to consider, sadly, i think they are just to citified i guess.
We've come across a lot of people judge us for eating elk and deer meat. But the meat is so much better tasting than store bought beef plus its so much better for you. Why people don't want to hunt is beyond us
Great video !!! Congrats on your 1st elk
Thank you!
That’s unit 3B north right
You bet yeah
@@scenicdrifters I killed my first bull over there at 10 two years ago pretty close to that actually
Near the road
Awsome😊
Thank you ❤
I started hunting 30 years ago (probably at about your age) because I wanted to know where my food came from. Decades later and a lot of trial and error, I have had moderate successes 😅 I managed somehow to draw a cow elk here in SW Nebraska this year.. they do exist here but having been hiding from humans since the dawn of time, they've gotten pretty good at it 😮
We had to idea that elk were in SW Nebraska! I’m sure as we start this hunting journey and get into it more, we will have not so successful hunts. Thanks for watching ❤
Great video! 🎉
Thanks ❤ it means a lot!
Awesome video! Now who is chopping onions while I was watching this?!
We were wondering the same thing 👀 thank you for watching ❤
That was wonderful. Congratulations.
