A multi-hyphenate force in the music industry, LaTocha is best known as a member of the multi-platinum-selling R&B group Xscape.
“It has always been a passion of mine to do inspirational music,” says LaTocha. “It has been my foundation, and that is very evident, even when I sing R&B music. I can’t escape that.”
For the powerhouse songstress, the interplay of music and faith began at Mt. Olive Church of God in Holiness, in her hometown of College Park, GA. She leaned on that foundation even as she became a household name in one of the biggest girl groups in R&B history.
In 2018 LaTocha gave birth to her company, Made Girl, promoting health, wellness, and the importance of living a balanced life. Through it, LaTocha released her first cookbook in 2020-LaTocha’s Planted Lifestyle, a collection of homemade recipes for classic dishes, including mac ‘n’ cheese, spinach dip, lasagna, and more.

I really don't care about all of the personal stuff I care about the voices and the singing do you really think escape would have been that successful without Tosha? You live in a dream world if you think so. They don't sound right without her that's for sure and your actions actually speak louder than words The rest the members know this the producers know this the directors know this and whoever else. Tosha has to stand out voice she is the one who can really sing in the group. The rest of them back up single voices. Put Kandi against Coco, could she hold her own stop living in the dream world. Put all of them on sunday's best TV show who would make it lol stop with the BS people being hallucinative states those other girls can't sing like her and That's all I care about.
The reality show ruined the quartet that we love, all 4 of them can hold their own but I agree you don’t get the full Xscape sound without Tocha. I really wish that Tocha and Tamika can work it out as sisters and they perform again as a quartet.

You could tell Tocha did it from the moment Tamika brought it up. If someone brings up an outlandish lie that you've never heard before, you'd would have a huge reaction...just from the shock alone.
