I do know Grave of Fireflies (if it is the Miyazaki film you are taking about) and in fact very much enjoyed it. Honestly I’m very happy to have you enlisted, because you appreciate the finer things in life and have watched movies like Grave of The Fireflies that depict war in a not very Call of Duty way.

Do you mean the Gregorian chant? You can also check out renaissance motets they are also choral work with a similar feel :))

What games have you been playing lately

It's been good! Graduated high school in May and have been playing some Helldivers along with ender lilies :). I've been studying and trying to keep a gym routine so I can enlist in the military.

About a year ago I got into a franchise called Project Moon, their games are really good! Their second game called Library of Ruina is pretty fun and has a great story.

Damn they always grow up so fast :”)) Very solid choice of games you’ve been playing! Get BG3 soon. Superb game. Also you gonna join the army? The navy? The Air Force?

It was note for note replicated from the original! I wish I could upload my Elden Ring album, but I haven't finished the project yet. I have to upload my Final Fantasy organ works on music streaming platforms. Maybe you are a foreseer ;) I've just listened to the original song and gotta say I do prefer your version! It is darker and more playfully mischievous (not sure if I chose the best adjective here). Did you ever play FFIV?

You gotta keep the fire of video game organ scene burning hard and bright :D Thanks again for your very kind words on my improv ^^ I really recommend you try BG3, when you get the time of course. It is a MASSIVE game in which there are lots of fun and a great number of good music. Definitely a time sink however so play at your own peril haha :D I’ve only played FF IV at my cousins place for a little bit but have watched the entire gameplay. Needless to say it is one of my favourite! I assume you’ve played the whole thing?

Dear friend apologies for my delayed response! I have been very busy during the past few days. Thank you sincerely for your very high praise. I look back at this work and there are a lot of things I wish I could have done better or change, but it sure holds a very special place in my heart because of how important the theme is to me both musically and in terms of where it was played within the game. I honestly don't really think much about where my improvisation goes when I am making it up on the fly, but I am very glad to learn how much emotion this took out of this! I reassure you that you don't sound like an idiot at all! Your words really warm my heart and encourage me to resume my music creativity after a two year hiatus. Stay tuned for more :D

Hey Tyler my buddy! What an honour to have you continuously coming back to my little creative outbursts! Especially for a pretty tiring time when you are working overnight shifts alone. One reason I enjoy Nier improvs a lot is definitely the emotional weight (I am not aware of any jargon that denotes this concept! And please no apologies hehe). Another reason is the I for some reason find the music of Nier allows for more creativity on the organ. I haven’t done any in-depth analysis but I do think the way the themes in Nier music are structured often allows for flexibility in improvisation. This is really liberating for someone who just like to doodle on the keyboard like me. Anyhow thanks for keep coming back and I wish you a very happy new year of 2023! May life treat us all kinder :)) And I will probably roll out more stuff a bit later in the new year so stay tuned!
