Glad we have a video of Quantum Leap open - and also groomed as well. It's almost always left as an "All-Natural" trail, with bumps and rocks everywhere. This truly is a rare sight to behold. It's almost like watching a unicorn walk by.

One of my favorite double blacks in the east ,must have hit it early with that corduroy.pissed it was closed when I was there in Feb but considering one of my buddies is still in a wheelchair from two broken legs I’m thankful

I was there last weekend and white heat was basically spring snow and it was 45 degrees!

When I worked at Sunday River in the early 90's, White Heat was only groomed a few times a year. The day after was always the time to get out and see how few turns you could make top to bottom :-)

fun trail but I feel like every time I do it it’s always an ice patch of covers in moguls lol

Over the years I have had runs like this one. Often on wind hold days you can hike bimms whim from the top of Locke triple and snag virgin runs on white heat. Awesome video. Looks like volkl rtm86?

I'm the guy in the yellow jacket, and my daughter is the one behind in the purple jacket. Very funny to stumble on this and see ourselves. Nice camera setup. =)
