Looking super clean man love the build! What did you use to mount to the wheels for the rear sliders that you made? I'm digging the chain kit. I cN recommend the tracker die damper rod and race tech 95kg fork spring. My bike loves them and it's a wheelie machine now

I'm running tracker die damper rod and race tech 95kg springs in my 2021 iron 1200 with 15" burly brand in the rear. Such a good improvement.

Dude, I've said it before and I will say it again. Your painting skills are impressive, especially with not having a booth. Your results are impressive! Now, I have a question or two. What offset is your PBI front sprocket, and how thick is your rear spacer? The reason I ask is because I went with a TMF chain conversion, and many others I know that have converted to a chain have had this happen. What I am talking about is the chain rubbing the down tube of the frame just below the oil tank. I think the spacers/sprockets TMF and others sell don't have the proper clearance and I would really hate to see your beautiful frame get marked up. If you watch the last video I posted of my bike you can slightly see where the chain rubs. It has taken a 2x2 inch area of paint off the frame unfortunately! How much clearance is there for your chain/frame?

I put a backup nut on my chain tensioners, IDK if it will help or Might HURT?? . Might be good to have a weaker link like that better than snapping a chain and busting the motor i guess.

Ill go ahead and tell you, get an extra set of chain tensioner bolts, they have a loop on them that act as a spacer too. I snapped one off doing burnouts. Theyre cheap, left and right is the same. Mines chain drive, 1200 cc, tons of mods, pushing 100hp right now. LOVE your color scheme bro, great work. Painting mine soon, I paint bikes and cars for a living myself.

Go race tech or patriot suspension springs up front man. If you don’t want to blow the bank but want the forks to stay tight the patriot dual springs will do the trick. I’ve had them on my sporty. Never blew a seal. I’m putting some in streetbob with their preload adjuster and then I’ll finally be set up to knock wheelies on her.

I had progressive springs and trackerdie dampers for a while that set up is fine with 20w fork oil. The racetech set up that I run now is even better though.

All the wrong set up for a higher hp Harley sportster you need to buy 1275 big bore kit made from hammer performance and I think Iowa or Idaho I built a 2008 one just like you’re doing and when I got done doing everything I used 575 cams Buhl XB 12 heads ported and polished to stage three a tuner and we got it up to 118 hp on It it would kill everything light to light it to kill a big twin and next time buy a pipe call up 2 Brothers racing they will build you a custom pipe to your specification on how you want it or you can order one just already made from them I had mine specially made but everything that I dumped into it was like $6000 And I bought a bigger throttlebody because mine was fuel injected I think I went with a 60 or 55 mm with bigger injectors solid pushrods put it this way it was a fucking monster you couldn’t keep it down
