I get this message after connecting 'the installation of this device is forbidden by system policy, contact your administrator ' could you help please how to make the Bluetooth devices work now? After the latest windows updates it may be very difficult for any of the methods to be working, even the group policy editor method. Hence If none of the solutions work as the last resort one can disable the laptop's PS/2 port if your laptop's inbuilt keyboard is a PS/2 one. I have done that after none of these methods work. To do it: Step1: Search CMD and right-click on it and run as administrator Step 2: type this-> sc config i8042prt start= disabled Step 3: Restart, Hopefully, your laptop keyboard won't even be connected to the laptop anymore. But if any other functionality is lost and you want to enable the PS/2 port follow step 1, and in step 2 type instead-> sc config i8042prt start= auto

doesnt work,i check the device manager to find the laptop keyboard still there

So i unistall the device and now can i bring it back if i return back to enable to not configured, can device be installed automatically?
