If this was the Rayman 1 we got, It all would be mostly a sci-fi platformer game instead of a adventure platformer that takes place mostly in jungles we have.
On July 4, 2010, (This is a public holiday for the United States in America) - (French retro-gaming magazine Pix’N Love revealed that, at the very beginning of its development, the first ever Rayman video game was originally intended to be released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). This version of the game is completely different from the final game, and is actually a 2-player game where one player controls Rayman (who, at the time was fat and had a red body) and the other player controls his unidentified female counterpart (who, like Rayman, also is fat but has a blue body). When optical disc-based game consoles (such as PlayStation or PlayStation One) were announced, the SNES version of Rayman was scrapped and cancelled while it was in final production, and now became the Rayman we all know today.

I didn't change the sprites, I used the Rayman ReDesigner level editor

I really liked this, the level design, the tricks, the overall vibe, I even liked how the level seamlessly transport to the next as if rayman never moved from his spot, that's a nice mind trick I will say tho there are moments where the difficulty gets too hard and the fun starts slowly disappearing (like segments with mr dark) and there's unnecessary tricks like instakills that spawn in the exact spot you're in without any reason, and 15 different enemies spawning all at once and cornering you making everything else harder than it needs to be. I don't mind it too much tho, overall I really liked this.
I'm glad you liked it, it's the best reward for me. My level is not perfect, I overdid it somewhere, I pushed something too much, here I completely agree with you.

Hi, I downloaded the backgrounds from the Internet. I am glad that you liked it, as a lot of effort and time went into creating the level. At the moment I have abandoned rayman, so you should not wait for new levels from me :)

This is a thing I noticed on koro-sauce's playthrough as well but when I download the level it doesn't give me that 'start screen' level you see at 0:02, bug? I know when I change file names it sometimes resets to an older version. Figured it was a shame since I felt the start screen segment helped tie it all together as a tribute.

It's nice, not sure why the rating dropped on it. (I'd guess either drive-by trolling or length fatigue depending on the player, I like atmospheric/detailed levels so as a longform watch it works for me) As for constructive criticism: honestly I'd give the level more screencaps and tags on the website entry to help people find it, it's a little obscure to find and people don't have the preview (Unless they find it on youtube) to recognize a gem if that makes sense. I think korosauce plays other peoples' levels so it might help to outsource playthroughs for your next projects, not sure if youtubers do that but you could ask. I know Ryemanni's streamed levels before but I forget if the most recent one was his last (He probably wouldn't do an hour+ one either lol).
@@NoNo-vv4vo This is my latest project. I spent a lot of time on it. I am Russian and therefore it was difficult for me to make out on the site. Perhaps I will try to add tags and screenshots when I have free time.

Damn, what a level. I didn't think that a Rayman Redesigner level could be a horror level, but you sure as hell proved me wrong. This was easily the hardest thing I've ever done in all things Rayman Redemption/Redesigner outside of Trap Master, holy shit. I try to do most levels in Redesigner Deathless and Perfect (all collectibles), but this one? This one I just wanted to get all the collectibles and siccessfully finish with Infinite Lives Off. I had only one life left by the end, not counting the meaningless post-level bonus lives. Great level, and one that I'd really recommend for anyone who wants a challenge. I've been looking for a "serious Mr. Dark themed" level for a while and this hit the sweet-spot perfectly. Not even gonna try to do this one Deathless tho (fuck that bonus section XD)

@@triaplext_t700 No problem! :) However, there is a slight issue in that, since you're using an old version of Redesigner, there's a bug where in a section with colored tings, when you collect one of those tings and die, ALL of the tings were counted as collected when respawning. You might want to open the level and re-save it (which is how to fix the issue according to the creator) and then upload a link to the newer version in your description. There's also a Redesigner-sharing website where you might want to upload this level. raydistributor.com/
@@mouthofsauron328 I tested the new version 1.2.2, opened the level and saved it, the bug still remained, it may not be fixed.
@@triaplext_t700 oof. Well, I’m not complaining about cheesing part of the bonus section, that shit’s hard enough as it is XD
@@triaplext_t700 Hmmm...it might be your end, cause when I saved over it in my copy it actually fixed the issue...which means that I had to do the bonus section the proper/hard way XD On a happier note, I actually managed to do a Perfect Infinite Lives Off run with only THREE deaths total! Now I'm going to take a long break from Redesigner XD
