Malaysia Borneo - Rainforest discovery centre night tour - Sepilok - Sandakan
We head out on a night tour at the Rainforet discovery centre in Sepilok Sandakan. This is a must do experience on your bucket list. is it well worth the money. We saw flying squirells, Orangutans, The Slow Loris, Tarsiers, Tarantulas, Scorpions, Snakes, you name it we saw it and it was absolutely amazing.

2 day 1 night on the Kintabatangan River. Greatfully we got to see more than most people ever do. This was a major highlight of our trip. The accommodation was absolutely lovely. We made our way to the Borneo Sun Bear Conservation Centre, and this was an absolute eye opener. These little guys are truly adorable. The park is trying to rehabilitate these guys from being taken away from their mothers, chained up and used as pets etc. It is very heart breaking. These little guys are on the brink of extinction so we really need to all get together and help as time is running...

We checked in to the Forest edge resort and there happened to be an Orangatan at our room.This is a must watch. The manager of the hotel told us we were super lucky as this doesn't happen very often. Highly recommend a stay at this place. The food is great and the staff are wonderful and the forest is amazing. This place is to die for. We awoke to find the Oriental pied hornbill bird nestled in a tree behind our hotel room. This was absolutely fantastic as this bird is an emblem for the culture of Malaysia much like the Kangaroo is to Australia. We arrived at Gayana Island Marine resort and must say this was a fabulous destination. We spent 3 nights here and the snorkelling and service was impeccable. Highly recommend this place. We decided to go on a snorkelling adventure tour with a company called Go Aquatic. It was only 400MYR for 2 people which is approximately $70AUD per person. This included lunch and was well worth the money. We visited 3 stops. #borneo #travel #malaysia #snorkeling #holiday #kotakinabalu

2nd day in Kota Kinabalu exploring. We take a walk through the local food market and head off to explore Tanjun Aru beach.We book our snorkelling tour with Go Aquitic, highly recommend. We show you the pool at Le Meridien hotel and venture out for dinner on Kk waterfront to a little Italian restaurant which I must say served the most delicious food. #borneo #travel #malaysia #sabah #hotel #market

We stayed at the Le Meridien hotel in the king Ocean view room and it was awesome, highly recommend. It came with afternoon tea and cocktails, wine and food between the hours of 5.30pm and 7.30pm. Close to everything and excellent service. Nice pool too. We visit the fish market for fresh seafood dishes. #borneo #travel #malaysia #festival #sabah #kotakinabalu #fishmarket #hotel

Actually the city is very clean, tanjung aru beach is cleaned everyday, but cannot stop the garbage that comes from the sea during rainy seasson. Comparing to australia, KK is clean, safe, and very nice city. You come from a place with drugs, hooligans and chicks vomiting on the street saturday night after going out from the nightclubs. I visited KK 3 times this year i a found out that your blog is superficial and you visited just few things from the city, maybe 30 percentage. Pls stop vlogging and do something else

Sunset river cruise looks great. We were supposed to have gone to Kuching in May 2020 but that did not happen but those holiday plans have been resurrected and we are in the process of packing for an 11 day holiday in Kuching. I think we might be doing that boat trip one evening. I like the little dance show as an added bonus to the sunset.
It was fantastic. Highly recommend. We stayed at the Ranee Boutique Suites straight across the road. Very authentic building and very affordable.
Sabah government need to upgrade and modernise the waterfront market area, it is dirty, run down and embarrassing.
