The best way to learn a language, is to hear it used in the home, from birth , and on ! Is there any way this can happen for the children ?

I appreciate the principles of the Waldorf School, and the ways in which it appears to be helping the Lakota. Man now stands on the abyss through taking many wrong turns, but there is a chance for some to turn back in time, and reconcile their relationship with the Great Spirit, whose laws we must obey and abide by, if we are to reap blessings, for the law of desire rules all, but cause and effect ensures our accountability to these laws. Thus, we at some point must reap what we have sown., and the ways of the white man have devastated the earth and its environments into a sty, rather than a Temple of Worship to the Creator. Thus, it seems the Lakota still have some guiding hands, leading them into a more prosperous, fulfilling time, as it was long ago. Thank you to the Waldorf schools for their educational efforts, to improve human beings, and perhaps one day I can visit the school of the Lakota, if my spiritual guidance permits, although it will take at least 7-8 years due to chronic illness, but I have taught and done community work in relation to the environment and sustainability, and spirituality, so it would be a joy to come, for but a short time, for there is so much to do, and so little time. All the best to teachers and students alike, and look forward to seeing you one day !!!

Thank you for the update! I am sorry I cannot contribute fiscally due to my situation, but I shall pray that the Lakota are able to evolve into a great nation once again. Many highly developed spirits, within the wheel of reincarnation, incarnated in the Lakota, and surrounding tribes, such as the Arikara, and brought much beauty into that land, until the disruptions caused by the coming of white settlers, after which the connection with the Great Spirit was weakened, but not totally lost. As a teacher, healer, and former tribal leader of the Lakota, I hope this school is able to unearth the spiritual gifts of these people, and bring the wealth, peace and inner strength, that are now necessary for this difficult, but prophesied time, when all men's deeds are held up in the light of truth, whereby every though and action is judged. This helps people learn the basic laws of creation, which are the laws of desire, karma, or reciprocity, homogeneity and motion. Thus, we must all learn now to desire only what is spiritually right, by offering ourselves in the pure service of the Great Spirit, the Creator, so that we can reap the blessings. Thus, may I wish this school blessings too, in finding the right form of education for its people. Perhaps, later after I am recovered from a chronic illness I suffer with, I can come to the Lakota with a Message from the Great Spirit, which would help become the foundation of the education, alongside the Waldorf, which I know is very good, necessary to acquire spiritual ascent, which is our primary goal,, either upon the earth, or in between lives in the beyond. Maybe I shall have some money by then too, in about 7 years time. Until then, wishing you every success, and hope you're able to find some extra funding !!!

It's so good that the Waldorf school, along with the total \Immersion schools are bringing the heart back to the Lakota. Great news will come soon when I bring a Message from the Great Spirit, that will set a path towards the ultimate goal for every man and woman... spiritual ascent to Paradise. This can only be done by recognising the laws of the Great Spirit, and then becoming obedient to them. I shall come to give you what else you need to complete your wheels of reincarnation, then if you sow aright, you will reap aright. Blessing to all Lakota, and their helpers, to whom may I express many thanks, and the deepest gratitude for helping my people. Aho!

@@kimimilawacipiwinyan848 My sentiments too, for there is much right in the Lakota way and its values, which can be deepened in its progress through the traditional ways! One must also be aware though of the laws of movement that do not permit stagnation, like a steam that becomes blocked and then stagnates and smells, for these laws constantly demand improvement and movement from us, and generally mankind are so far lacking in their spiritual maturity that they should have attained.to by now. Hence why the many prophecies were given to those who were most open and awake, who lived in relative peace with one another, and in harmony with nature. For these were warnings not just to the native peoples, but the whole of mankind, for sadly, these karmic storms will soon be unleashed , and this is why, in certain special cases, good news will be proffered to the deserving. And the success of the process will depend upon every person doing their bit, so no one person drives the success of all men, and every act and task performed out of love is as worthy as another, no matter how small it may appear. However, a few chosen ones have been carefully prepared over many incarnations to fulfill specific tasks for the Salvation of men at this time, and their responsibility is great, for they form the connecting links to the higher and uppermost parts of Creation, where at the very summit, sits the Great Spirit, who drives the whole process of purification on earth, through His many servants and a Great Star. It is of this personage, who formerly came twice to the earth, of whom I shall speak, for He left a legacy to mankind, so that they may find their way out from the many clouds of Darkness that prevail upon the earth and its surrounding environs, suffocating their spirits. If men were doing well in their self-sufficiency, then they would have heard the Voice of the Spirit, but they did not, for they were spiritually asleep. Steiner by the way was one of these highly called ones, who was to help prepare the way for men, in their greatest time of need, just as I shall be there for the Lakota, in about 7 years, just before the great Apocalypse. And all and any gratitude and homage must always be given to the Great Spirit, for it is only in absolute humility that any person can truly ascend and receive these gifts, and appreciate, the glory and beauty of the Creators Temple, within which lays the untouched beauty and splendour of Mother Nature. Blessings to you all then, and I shall speak more nearer the time, and thereby keep you posted. And thank you for replying, it was good to hear from the great Lakota nation !!! All the very, very best for now.

Thank you so much for the video. I'm interested in incorporating some Waldorf pedagogy into our local Jewish Day School and some of the stuff you talk about with wanting to preserve your culture, and your language rang so true for us as well. I actually find myself coming to tears while watching, the fear of losing ones culture and the drive to keep teaching it to our children hits me hard (I also have ancestors on my father's side who were 5 Nations members who assimilated into white culture , and there is always a part of me that is aware and mourns what was lost). Thank you for sharing

I have been such a slow and struggling student of anthroposophy, that I used to think "Surely if Dr. Steiner were here, he would disqualify one as crass as I, and tell me to re-apply again in a few lifetimes." But in deep meditations I have encountered Dr. Steiner, and his presence so full of the warmth of love and compassion and patient encouragement. This has inspired me to go forward, stop being so hard on myself, and trust in the work of the powerful benevolent beings and forces at work in us all within the Christ impulse. I have spent much time in the past 2-3 years listening to his free online lectures on the Rudolf Steiner Audio site, which have supported me more than I can say. Today I decided to put on this collection of 33 Waldorf videos while I puttered around the house. When your video came on, it immediately drew my attention away from my work, and the strong impression was presented to my consciousness of Dr. Steiner's spirit and consciousness hovering over and pervading your school with powerfully protective, beneficent forces that moved me to tears. I feel certain Dr. Steiner is actively at work in the increasing fruits of his labor of love all over the earth, but I certainly sensed a great, abiding love in his heart for the Lakota Waldorf School. Thank you all for blessing me with this video.
