Orrrrr, if you’re not playing in tourneys or for real money just take your average score over par and subtract 2. If you average 10 over par then your handicap is pretty close to 8. Because your handicap shows your potential. This is just for water cooler talk so you can tell someone a number in case they ask. Just say you’re “around an 8”.

I’m a 13 handicap but it’s because I don’t practice putting and chipping. I carry driver ~285 and a stock 7 iron is 195 distance. People always tell me I should move up but it actually hurts my score because I have a bunch of 50-65 yard shots into par 4s that I suck at.

July and August is usually in the low to 90s. I enjoy vacations there but it is extremely crowded and traffic has become hard to navigate. My 1st vacation there was 40 years ago. It was quiet and very pretty. Wall to wall shops, hotels, and homes now. The beaches are great. The food is nice as well.
