Interesting fact valerie was previously voiced by grey delisle who also voices sam but starting this episode she's voiced by cree summer. Maybe the change was because before she was just a background character now she's become more prominent so she needs her unique voice.

I found valerie an interesting anti hero character. At first she became Ghost Hunter to get revenge on Phantom for causing her dad to lose his job but then she genuinely wanted to protect Amity Park from its constant ghost invasions and just like Danny's other enemies was forced to work with him on certain occasions. She also has the classical missing mom trope since her mom is never mentioned and she apparently lives with her single father. One of my friends her mom is harry chin from bitter reunions.

When the man said those smelly security dogs wear a thing of the past that makes me wonder what happened to them especially since cujo is a guard dog.

While Danny and Sam didn't invent the term fake out make out I think the phrase became popular because of their kiss this episode. Batman and wonder woman did the same thing in their civilian identities to avoid being caught by their enemies.

I never liked the popular kids at Casper high Paulina dash and Kwan show zero sympathy for their friend losing all her wealth and instead of being grateful she bought them those concert tickets in the first place they shun her and hope they don't have to sit next to any losers at the concert I'd say having to sit next to Danny and his friends is karma. Then towards the end some other background popular kids glare at Valerie for reasons I don't know why probably because she's not one of them anymore. I think that's one of the reasons Sam decides to hide her wealth because she doesn't want friends who only like her for her money and would drop her without hesitation the minute she loses it.

Another example that shows fentons aren't perfect parents Maddie was intentionally worried about Danny but forgot about him when Jazz mentions she saw a ghost at the school

The fact that jazz knows about the accident implies she was spying on danny when he went into the portal or he had to go to the hospital after the accident I'm leaning more towards the former.

I think Valerie and kwan's chat about her session with spectra about how she worries too much about material things foreshadowed the driving factor for her later role in the series.

I felt so bad for Danny in this episode it seems in the show he can never catch a break being punished for something that wasn't entirely his fault and humiliated by a ghost who feeds off emotions not to mention I couldn't comprehend why his friends and jazz got mad at him for the sprinklers thing when he said it was an accident.

Great video captain yeet I think this episode really shows jazz's character development because in the beginning she was as Danny put it a conceited snob and it's easy to see why Danny finds her annoying but when she notices how stressed Danny is she becomes concern for his emotional wellbeing and lets him know she's on his side and for a whole season kept his secret until he was ready to tell her cause she understood why he kept it.
