Yes it is. And Jesus said to “love one another.” He didn’t add exceptions. So I’m trying to love those of us who’ve been involved in an abortion and help them seek and receive the love, mercy and forgiveness of Christ, even when others choose to attack and condemn us.

I understand. I can’t say that I’ve ever met a woman who feels pretty good about her decision. They often feel relief and that can be confused with feeling good. The emotional aftermath can be complicated. I really appreciate that you watched my video and commented. Thank you.

@@TheCornerstoneTeam you see women vehemently defending the right to abortions but you never hear anyone talk about the guilt, depression, anxiety and regret that comes later. Especially if people find God and have to cope with the fact that they will have to answer for and possibly face the child they aborted.

@@feleciakline8793 I believe that because I’ve repented of my abortions and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior that I will be reunited with my children after death in Heaven. And because nothing but love and grace can exist in the presence of God, my children will live and accept me. What joy I’m looking forward to!

I know these doubts are irrational and I have been forgiven, but Satan knows how to get under our skin. The whole point of my conversation is not that I’m not forgiven, it’s that abortion isn’t the free and easy way out of a pregnancy. There are drawbacks to it.

Six in 10 women who have abortions are already mothers, and half of them have two or more children, according to 2019 data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Couples may choose abortion because they feel overwhelmed with their responsibilities and/or finances seem like having another child impossible. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying those reasons justify abortion. My goal is to paint a full picture that loving parents can succumb to pressure even as they love and care for their living children. The man might himself as a failure, unable to provide for his family and not protecting his unborn child. His wife may see him that way too. Those circumstances are hard to talk about and can lead to breakups and divorce. Hope that helps fill in the picture a little better. I hope you come back for more videos.

If I may add to her comment... Me and my ex split for good about 6-8 months after. I made my stance clear- that I wanted to keep our child and try to work something out. She wanted to do it for her schooling (college sweethearts). I was there for her during that time and I cared for her to comfort her while failing (in the beginning) to mend my own broken heart and the pain that was both unfamiliar to me and overwhelming. When I was informed of her pregnancy, ~6 weeks, I was also told that she was going through with it (before I even had a chance to get a say). I was crushed as I tried to recommend any other alternative, like working full time hours while finishing university (me), dropping out to work full time and more (me) while she finished her degree, someone moving in, up for adoption, family members, anything other than abortion. Her decision was made and it was final, so I had no choice but to accept that and love her regardless. It was hard for me for some time after, and thought I still loved and cared for her, it broke me in ways I've never been before. It was worse than the depression I'd been in through my mid life. Sadly also a long bender and drive myself to sleep, etc. But I'm sure you understand where I'm going with this. 💙
