I'll be posting another video relating to another fandom completely different from murder drones, then I'll probably go back to working on my comic series and content relating to it. And I’ve already said it but I am truly thankful for this show, indie shows like murder drones make me happy to look forward to interesting stories and animations.

🪩 🐈 🐈 🐈 🐈 Some sketches I did for scenes and practice for the next comic in my series (which probably won’t come out until late September to October based on how long it took me to finish the last one 😭) The hybrid dancing with Corvin is Callista and the one using needles as a weapon is Bo which literally is an acronym for ‘Boutique owner’ because I couldn’t think of a name. I didn't know that the first picture contained so much meaning until I read the description! I like how some of the organs, even though not all of them, implies Aloris's values and his view on life. Nice work!! :D

This is a piece to show that Aloris is violent yet elegant because of the fancy setup paired with organs. This piece was definitely inspired by Fools Table by Natori but they both don’t exactly have the same message. The general message is that Aloris refuses to conform to societies expectations, whether that be how others view him or how he views others in this society (represented by the food) (For a bit of context the comic Aloris is from takes place in hell and focuses on a species called hybrids where cannibalism is pretty normalized due to most hybrids being poor, although this is rarely brought up in the comic) All of the organs on the table were supposed to represent what Aloris views as weaknesses in society but I sort of gave up on that idea so not all dishes have a meaning. Heart - Sweetness, or kindness in hell will get you killed Stomach - gluttony will get you killed And the brain being untouched actually represents how Aloris views the mind as the strongest part of someone. But yeah other than the general message the rest can be left up to interpretation which actually adds to his mysterious personality :)

I always think about how tiny we are in the universe and how our lives are meaningless. I also think about how in the super duper really far future the sun will eventually explode and humanity will end. So, as someone who is constantly experiencing existential dread, this episode, and specifically this moment where Pomni tries to comfort Gumigoo, gave me some comfort. This whole time I’ve been dealing with this problem alone and it’s nice to find a piece of media in which I can relate to a character or at least a feeling that a character is going through. When gumigoo and Pomni fly to the surface in the candy truck, in this moment with the gorgeous music I interpreted it as them acknowledging the problem but coming out from their lowest point, facing the fact that their lives are meaningless but also coming out of that experience with a new perspective, in which they don’t have to face it alone. And for anyone who’s going through the same thing, although I cannot promise any actual helpful advice since everyone deals with these things differently, for me doing the things you love and seeing friends or family and just living life distracts me enough so that I’m not constantly thinking about death or the meaning of life.
