Wish El Dorado High School would have been mentioned too, understand the rivalry. I grew up near Tri City Park but closer "up the hill" to Gilman Park. The view is magnificent from there; Brea to the North, Coyote Hills to the West & Fullerton to the South. And you can cruise over to Craig Park via Associated in 2-3 minutes and have a barbecue there. Looking back at my Childhood there, felt magical.

There are definitely plenty of bars/restaurants that are fun and a kid friendly

The way you pronounced Pho is perfect. It sounds like ‘fer’ as in Jennifer. Monarch 9 has excellent pho soup and other stir fry dishes.

It’s almost worth it living in Placentia for El Farolito alone.

Yorba Linda is hotter. Placentia has better access to food. Yorba Linda is very, VERY rapidly turning into Irvine in terms of demographics. Basically, half of Central Asia is moving there or already lives there. There is no better evidence of this than when you drive on the streets.

Not a good idea, I think everyone forgets the big fire that started in the Santa Ana Riverbend and burned homes on Stonehaven and homes on San Antonio and then the hills above Kerrigan Ranch and eventually Carbon Canyon. And what made the whole situation worse was the water pressure going up Stonehaven was feeble as best🤔

Anaheim hills is a planned association community. Everything there is h.o.a. Yorba Linda typically has bigger homes and lots.

What happened to the project that connects hidden hills to the Camino Bryant neighborhood?
