Did he have trouble seeing or did the mouth line up well with his eyes
He looked through the mouth :) the eyes were completely covered on the mask
What size are the Googly eyes?
Hi they are Jumbo sized I either got them at Michaels or Joanns :) should be the 6 inch ones
Oh my goodness! My seven year old grandson is addicted to Rainbow Friends, the character plushes, I’m going to have to make this for him. Thank you for sharing.
Paper Mache 3 layers (using newspaper /mod podge /wood glue)(YT: BananaJamana for pokemon mask) added a carboard crown with tape to stay in place then more paper mache layers. I would let it dry overnight infront of a fan each layer. Got big Googly eyes from Michaels, I opened one Googly eye for the X shape and replace the backing. The inside was the hardest part Ive read its easier fitting a small dollar tree kid helmet inside. Cutting the shapes out was very difficult be careful and get specialized tools for cutting hard paper mache.
