2024 05 Philippines Amun Ini only
this video if from my Philippines trip in May 2024. I traveled with a group of divers set up by divetravel.com. Thanks to our travel guide Tina, the company owner, and my fellow divers for another great adventure.
Previously diving around the island of Cebu and now this trip where we dove from the islands of Bohol and Negros have been some of my favorite dives.
This video is only from our dives on the main part of our trip from the Amun Ini Resort on the island of Bohol.
I have yet to edit the files from the trip extension to the Salaya Beach Resort on the Philippines island of Negros. Stay tuned for that.

Well, Bill M and Doug, my travel companions, ought to be happy as I finally edited the files from our trip to Costa Rica back in October 2014. Hey, that only took a mere 10 years so what have they got to complain about! Editing these files took me about 50 hours to sort, organize and do the actually editing.

Here is a short video highlighting the viewing of a total solar eclipse in the country of East Timor (my eighth total eclipse experience) on 20 May 2023. We did many other activities on this trip including visiting Bali and the Komodo Islands. I hope to provide an edited video of the full trip in the near future.

2022 04 Galapagos dive trip

This is a video that I made of my recent dive trip with the Aggressor Fleet in the waters around the Galapagos' Islands including traveling about a hundred miles to the northern islands of Wolf and Darwin to see schools of hammerhead sharks. It was a great trip though I think I will be sticking with diving in warmer waters for a while. Enjoy!

Majestic... We had a week at Tonga Blue Lagoon Vava'u Northern Tonga in September 2023. Awesome experience. We came from Australia & Bulgaria. Exceeded our expectations. Wonderful whale encounters including swimming with Heat Runs, Singers, Mothers and calves, some with escorts. Wonderful hosts, rustic resort for 8 guests & awesome hosts.

Hi. Gorgeous video. Interesting shots, good quality. The only thing is that when installing the video, you do not need to use fast aggressive rock music, the melodies should be peaceful, relaxing, almost like a mantra.
I’m glad you liked the video. It was a very nice resort though quite remote. There were several people there outside of our dive group that were just snorkeling. I actually skipped a couple dives and went with them one morning to snorkel and check out some pictographs that were nearby. The snorkeling was nice but not nearly as nice as the diving. I think the deepest that I went on any of our dives was about 75 feet. Most were around 60 feet with some of the best scenery at 30 feet or less. Great lighting in the shallows which as a videographer I really liked.
Yes. Dive certification was required to dive there.

Indonesia for my eighth total solar eclipse experience which we are to view in the newest Asia country, East Timor. We will be boating around Komodo island too and get to hike in their park where we should get to see Komodo dragons.

What’s the water temperature in April? How many mm of wetsuits u were wearing?
The water temperature for most of the dives was around 72 degrees Fahrenheit. For the location where we saw the sunfish the temperature was 62 degrees. I wore a 7 mm wetsuit. That was the first time that I wore such a thick wet suit. The other six divers with me were all more experienced with cold water diving. The 7 mm kept me warm enough especially my body’s core. For the two dives that I made in the 62 degree water I was warm enough though I remember that my arms felt colder though nothing too bad.
