    I was heating melted electronic scraps in hcl. Poured in NaOH(aq) and got a black precipitate. I have no idea what it could be. I thought it was iron but it wasn't green or red. I guess I'm going to have to dry it and do a flame test to find out.

    Best video I've seen on this topic .However, I would have just included zinc, it also forms a white ppt in NaOH ! , its soluble in excess giving colorless solution.

    What about the fact that hot air rises because of gravity? How does the bottom of the column stay hotter than the top? I'd really appreciate your help!

    When forming the ethylnitrile (at 6 mins), why does the N become positive? I don't understand the explanation of just saying it makes more bonds.

    Will the ocean “run out” of plankton?

    • @Jass951
      @Jass951 Рік тому

      Indeed as they may extinct.

    • @ltull713
      @ltull713 Рік тому

      Likely not, unless as Jass suggests they go extinct. If your argument is "surely crude oil is technically renewable if plankton can be replaced" then you're I suppose correct. However the finite nature of crude oil regards the disproportionate rates of consumption vs production.
