I'm in Westfield and Jamie has helped us a couple of times in the past, once to remove a sick purple leaf plumb tree and the other to trim a fast-growing maple tree. Just keep in mind that the entire transaction from offer and acceptance til the actual closing where keys for money take place is a negotiation. Repairs, if any, dates, deposits, it’s all about flexibility and understanding. Remember to always do your due diligence when approaching any situation during the transaction. Be fair about things and respond to questions and signatures as swiftly as possible to keep things moving forward. If you have legal questions, ask your attorney. If you home questions, or need to make appointments for inspections or appraisal, speak with your agent. Buying or selling a home can taxing (no pun intended) and frustrating at times. Hi Ruth, Attorney review varies from state to state but in general getting in and out of AR should be no longer than 5 business days. Every transaction, every home , every buyer and every seller are different. Facilitating the contract to the attorneys is something that the agents put together once an offer is excepted by the seller. Depending on the attorney as well, some of them are very slow some of them know each other and move very quickly and sometimes there’s complications with the house itself and the wording and the verbiage used in the contracts need to be checked.
