    Great video....helps me see some tools I'll need for sure. Tack for pancake style fills helps they say. I used the 6.0 for a larger washout hole and then cleaned out cracks at the garage and lower sidewalk and watered and tamped the hell out of it and im shocked how good this stuff is. Very happy.

      but the ideas are golden. good problem solving displays more intelligence than any other form of thinking. work smart, not hard. this looks like a better repair job from rookies then most hired companies do in 2024. "its good enough" "Can't see it from my house" what other lines do the pro's use? "Should have paid more, cheap o?"

    Check out their site. It can be installed in below freezing temperatures. When sealed with a quality rubberized sealer and feathered out it lasts a long time. But it can't fix a sliding lot. Best of luck with that. Mmmm sounds pricey

    Remove the weeds, cut into the asphalt to create straight lines with an angle grinder, apply it, pat the product down with a heavy tamper then use a hose set to shower! Dude uses a large cup. Yikes!

      The product has held up fine over time. I have a short video showing it after 1 year that you can watch. We are still using it daily without any issues. I believe the 4.0 is the smallest they offer and is good for cracks down to .5 inches

    Do put oil in the new oil filter?

    • @andyalger6702
      @andyalger6702 4 роки тому

      No, the filter has a horizontal orientation. Wouldn't make much sense to fill it with oil.

    • @riggarobable
      @riggarobable 3 роки тому

      I do. Iif you fill it to the top and then wait for 20 minutes while you changing the oil, the filter material absorbs most of the oil, it doesn't spill anything. Just my two cents worth.

    So whats the difference between Aquaphalt 6.0 Black Water-Based and Aquaphalt 4???And why no water added???

    • @andyalger6702
      @andyalger6702 4 роки тому

      I've only used the 4.0, but I believe the difference is just the texture. The 4 is a fine texture, and the 6 is a medium. We did use water.

  • @stevensevek6151
    @stevensevek6151 4 роки тому

    This video is a bit misleading. The Rogue is available with a 2.5 or 2.0 liter four cylinder engine. The oil filter is NOT in the same location for both engines. On the 2.0 liter 2018 Rogue the oil filter is on the front side of the engine below the lower radiator hose. I don't know if there was a 2.0 engine available in 2015 but if your title specified "with the 2.5 engine" it would be a help.

    • @andyalger6702
      @andyalger6702 4 роки тому

      Steven Sevek the description specifically states this is a 2015.

    • @stevensevek6151
      @stevensevek6151 4 роки тому

      But it doesn't say it's a 2.5 engine. I don't know whether there was a Rogue Sport available in 2015 or not and neither do I know whether there was both a 2.5 and a 2.0 engine available or not. Apparently some Rogue owners don't know either because yesterday I changed the oil in a Rogue that the owner thought had a 2.5 engine but it had 2.0 engine. I couldn't even find an oil change video on UA-cam for a Rogue with a 2.0 engine...

    Your are suppose to water it before compacting. If you compact first, then the water cannot mix with the aquaphalt, which is what it needs to do to to harden properly.

    • @andyalger6702
      @andyalger6702 5 років тому

      bconman Your point is valid. The problem is getting enough material into the small crack. It has to be pushed down to some degree in order for the void to be filled. Otherwise, we would have a very loose and crumbly fix that wouldn’t last.
