The actual issue I have is maintaining the heavy oil. Not the other way around. Sad to see there isn't a solution for that

But what if u need to expand oil rafineries. It seems like not expandable setup in relation to your bus and factories.

Hello, I know this video is almost 2 years old but, the way you explained this complicated logic in Factorio is brilliant. I was stuck cracking oil in the Space Exploration mod and came across this video. Your ability to easily explain and demonstrate your solution is great. I was also really afraid of circuits too and now I'm just tinkering with everything I can, wondering what I can and can't stick them too lol Thanks again for your help, I hope you continue to make content!

repeating patterns like this are exactly why i just use faster start to give me some bots to work with early on it's almost a requirement for anything at-scale but this video has single-handedly gotten me past advanced oil processing after YEARS of starting a run, dropping it after needing lubricant, and wishing i would take the time to learn cracking... if i'd have known it was as easy as tank->pump heavy > light, light > petrol and slapping down more cracking if it cant keep up... god... i've been shooting myself in the foot all this time...

Really appreciating this whole tutorial! I'm new-ish to the game, but it may be my favorite I've found on youtube so far.

My Oil refinery started making lube, and pump 14k into my Wagen but then just suddenly stopped crafting heavy oil and I haven't changed anything any ideas?

One of the better videos for manually setting up oil! I'm just getting to where I need to figure out oil - are the pumps feeding the oil tanks required or just speed things up? The fluid should push into the tank, no? I'll make sure to check out the other parts of this series!

I have been enjoying all your Factorio videos. But this one is confusing. It would help if you showed at the beginning of the video what it is you are going to produce. And you explained too rapidly the wiring of the boxes and how they are loaded. I couldn't see what you did. It's ok, I will figure it out. Thanks for the great series.

It took me three hours today, talking to people on discord, to try and figure out oil. My setup looks disgusting but the knowledge of how to do it now will make future playthroughs that much better. Now to deal with the input shortages…

If refined oil max's out then the whole thing shuts down though.

Ok so has any one else having a problem with oil refinerys not producing heavy oil anymore even if you have everything done right. I don't if this is a glitch in the game and if it is this sucks I'm assuming you need the heavy oil to make lube and so man other things.

Hey @Landersama first of all thank you for the videos and content. I’ve been having a problem. When generating power my boiler works for 1 second then stops dead and stops producing power. Is this a bug that you know of or am I doing something wrong ? I followed your video to the Tee. Thank you
