I would like to give the PTRH some advice....maybe you'd already heard this before...I dunno....but, if your interviewed guests would, quite simply, plug a CAT5 wire into whatever computer they are using....I would hazard the guess, that, you would come up with more cogent interviews and less disconnects IMHO FWIW....sorry if my comment is redundant.... fyi a hard line is 8x faster than wifi

The website that exposes the use of autotune is Wings of Pegasus. He does an excellent expose of this insidious practice of putting autotune on EVERYTHING.

The surge is NOT "unprecedented. In October 2021 it was trading up there not far from the current level, before plunging to around 1/3 of that value with 12 months. It would not be unreasonable to expect a similar cycle to occur, it just question for the gamblers of 'when'.

I really enjoyed this conversation, especially towards the end. I am new to Piano Technology and listening to both of your thoughts in regards to tuning aurally vs. digital tuning was interesting. Glen's perspective on the industry shift in the piano tech space was also enlightening. I am noticing the same things in my industry as well.

A lot of good information here. Especially pleased to hear about the importance of voicing and doing it regularly. I mostly work on uprights and i streight up refuse to tune a piano that has hammers in bad condition. Also the comment of using just one single needle was very interesting to me. I have always used more and some technicians even say its about the impact not about the number of needles. But i always felt the opposite way, that voicing a hammer by force, high impact strokes is problematic and dangerous. Thanks for sharing all of this.

I wanted to hear Clara's story on her Steinway B, but the session was up before she could finish...
