How to Sound Design: Processing & How to find YOUR signature sound in under 15 minutes!
After uploading this video I sorta realized that izotope doesnt exactly offer trash 2 anyone, but I happen to have an extra serial number that ill be happy to gift to one of my subs. everyone can comment a number between 1-100 and the first one to get it wins the serial. This will also be a series of videos for learning how to sound design better and finding ways to understand approaching the process of making sounds that you absolutely love every time.

Nice man, Im trying to figure this out too. Been messing with some textural stuff but bass sound design is always the hardest. I really like the bass design in artists like Daggz, Chmura, Comisar, Lowcaton, Jade Cicada

I feel like the majority of the distortion effect is using a ringmod, potentially combined with some feedback but there needs to be a sideband with a beefy sub that's being used to give you that flutter.
yea the math on that shit is crazy, I always thought it was weird saturn did that naturally? but also really awesome for wonky sound design. it would be really cool to see a dedicated section that maybe controlled those parameters a little more directly.

My understanding is the flux setting is sort of randomly modding the grain size or the grain position. If its on 0 it will be the same every time, more flux = more random movement. Generally i keep it at 0
@@dtown5id yea under the hood idk if anyone knows 100% what its doin. But if i want something more stable i keep it low but typically ill use it all randomly for variation

Wondering if you could replicate the main bass from input slope, that'd be sick.
im actually pretty confidant that if you watched the taiki nulight video i have, you could use that bassline, maybe wack an OTT or some widening on that, play with it a little and get that exact same bass from that patch.
