I absolutely love dragon’s rising and how they went about Lloyd, Arin, and Sora. Lloyd feels like THE Legendary Green Ninja. He’s super cool and he’s trying to be a teacher. But he’s also imperfect and funny and immature at times- something that is relatable and makes him more enjoyable for us fans. Arin’s powers are super cool and he just has a great personality. I love that he bakes lol. And I relate to struggling to learn and perfect his soinjitzu and being frustrated by it because I have a learning disability. I know that he probably doesn’t but I like to imagine that’s why he’s having trouble with his spinjitzu. I think sora’s design is AWESOME! And I like that they went straight into her backstory and didn’t skimp on it and gave her a super interesting background. I love how she has ties to imperium and how much she cares about dragons.

I really like that he has these moments where he gets angry and sometimes it messes up his judgement. It makes him feel more relatable and sets him a path from other stereotypical protagonists

I'm still watching dragons rising but it isn't the original series. This was the perfect ending with everyone rebuilding the monastery together with this song playing the ending was beautiful. I cried when it ended it was such a great series. If you never saw Ninjago you never lived.

Lloyd falling: Cole - There he is!!

I've been thinking about how a lot of people dislike how Lloyd treats Garmadon in the show. However, we need to consider the earlier seasons when Garmadon was still somewhat evil. In season one and season two, Garmadon betrayed the ninjas after they had welcomed him into their home, and they didn't even like him there. Then Lloyd gave him the golden weapons to defeat the enemies, and Garmadon was supposed to give them back, but he didn't. I can understand where Lloyd is coming from. He has a lot of trauma from his dad's past actions, like betraying him and now in the revival, beating him to death and favoring Harumi over him. Lloyd has a lot of abandonment issues and trauma, and I think that's why people don't fully understand his behavior. I can see where Lloyd is coming from and his fear of becoming like his father. The original plan for Garmadon to revive Harumi would have made Lloyd even angrier, as his father would have survived and formed a father-daughter relationship with Harumi, which would have been unfair. I would have been really mad too. It's understandable why Lloyd would feel that way.
