Hi Brad. I wouldn't describe that as a mini skirt. It's about the same length as my kilts ie middle to top of the knee. Looks good on you and would be the sort of skirt I would be happy to wear. If you want a style title about Cool Casual Camo!

Such a refreshing take on things and really nice to see people being positive and not judging based on the clothes you choose to wear. Personally not my cup of tea but I 100% support anybody who wants to wear a skirt, it does absolutely no harm to anybody and I love to see a bit of positivity in what has become a very negative world! I only say I wouldn't wear a skirt in the same way I wouldn't wear a lot of more "masculine" clothing because it's just not for me. I am certainly not put off wearing a skirt due to it being seen as feminine!

If only we didn't need to justify what we wear to anyone. At whatever stage. From simply wearing a skirt as a guy, to fully transforming appearance to the opposite gender, just because we want to. It is and always has been no one else's business, but it's those who make it their business to pass comment and feel it necessary to get their opinions heard, just to appear "alpha". It's usually these "alphas" who like to label themselves as such too 😂 I have to add though Brad, you're the type of guy who has that certain "aura" about them, easy going, relaxed cool swagger, with the long hair, you can wear anything and just look "cool man". Heh, I don't think it was my comment that made you "explain yourself" as I absolutely disagree with "castrating men through wearing skirt" concept. And just like you, I'm not realizing any "agenda" - I'm just enjoying myself and the world that luckily I'm living it, giving me a bunch of opportunities to express it. My comment under that video was more about the fact that you encounter people who talk to you (off/on camera) about it and make compliments - I personally don't have such situations, so just wanted to express that you have a good vibe to make people spontaneously talk to you. We basically have different experiences when being "beskirted", I guess. You know, it's strange but I feel more confident wearing skirt on a daily basis than taking a photo of myself beskirted and sharing it online.

I started wearing skirts last year. I now have 11 or 12 that I consider my "nice skirts" for going out. I have 7 that are my "doing things around the house skirts". So far this summer if I'm not at the race track where I have to wear pants track side I have been skirted every day. Luckily my wife has no problem with my choice and we have a few skirts we purchased from the same store. We even wear the same size. I just turned 73.

You really know how to start a conversation with random folks, I rarely get any feedback about my skirt-wear, but at the same time hearing rumours of being photographed frequently by people who are (un)lucky to encounter me somewhere.

Good, when I was in India, I was really surprised that a lot of female wear trousers, especially denim, when they have so many traditional clothing that's by far better than this generic thing we consider as "normal"

My opinion as follows. On the surface, yes, it's edgy and contrarian. You don't care about societal norms or expectations, it's "progressive". But if we look deeper, it's about a man emulating women and it's occurring at a time when male fertility and testosterone levels are half of what our grandfathers had a couple of generations ago. This is most likely due to microplastic pollution and a host of other chemicals. They have done studies of ponds around industrial areas where pollutants get into the water and found a phenomena where the frog species which live there switch gender when exposed to the pollutants. So it's kind of a dystopian celebration of this dynamic. Even though it's just a dress, it has a "cyber punk" feel to me as it conjures up images of a mutating species exposed to industrial pollutants in a dark modern world. It also has a kind of philosophical angle, the man wearing the dress seems happy enough. Chemical castration doesn't necessarily mean one is going to be unhappy, one can be happy and be chemically castrated. Dogs certainly seem fine after castration. It also brings up thoughts of current events in this country. Riots over immigration. The fertility rate has dropped in western countries to the point where the native population cannot, or refuses to, replace itself. This is in part due to the lowered testosterone but also due to certain ideologies such as feminism which drastically reduce the amount of children produced as women focus more on career and less on producing family. To prevent the collapse of the economy, the government needs to import populations from other countries which still produce children. More philosophical questions come up. Was feminism worth if it means the population becomes extinct within only a few generations? The smiling man in a dress is happy, does it matter then? He seems happy enough.
