You ladies are an inspiration to me

This is such a difficult thing for me! I have been trying to bring up talking about what we're eating at dinner. It's just hubby and me, and we tend to talk about our work days, or the kids, or weekend plans, but never about the food. I've started cooking some new recipes, and I want feedback!! But also, when we talk about the food we eat, we are focusing where we need to be, ON THIS MOMENT. And we have prayer cards on the table. I want to start actually reading them and using them to help us bring God to the table with us. Just start our evenings together, in a better way!

I have started listening to these on my 12-15 minute drive to work, in the mornings! Talk about starting my day in a good mindset! Thank you for these! It has been such a blessing for me!

How can my weightloss journey draw me closer to God? I think that was the question. I know I've been avoiding struggle and discipline, and I'm not happy. I need to dig deeper into his word, and following his lead. I'm sorry to be late to these videos, but I'm excited to use them as a morning jumping off spot! I'll be repeating this verse all day!

Oh I have definitely had discrimination at the dr office and have had serious health issues ignored because they just focused on my size - not my symptoms or feeling something was wrong. So didn’t go to the dr again for years because I felt body shamed .

Guilt vs. Shame?? How do you feel guilt without shame?

Rewatching this for the second time today while I’m not as distracted by my son. I’m bawling. “He is whispering to you your value. “ Becky that’s a tough one to believe.

I could so relate to all the comments on this verse. I thought I was disappointing God by not taking care of my temple, which led me to shame. It's so great to look at it in the positive way. I love the reminder of the difference between shame and guilt. That is huge! I can also relate to Becky being an introvert. I am too but I have found over the years that God has asked me over and over to do things to get me out of my comfort zone. He has shown me that He's right there with me and I get through doing whatever He asks me to do even though I was fearful. I didn't die from it, even though sometimes it felt like it!
