He died the year i was born. I discovered dr martin through a video on facebook of him clowning TBN. He intrigued me so i found more videos of his lectures and his teachings really drew me out of my prodigal son ways in 2020. I fell in love with apologetics and biblical archaeology because of dr martin. Im so thankful to God for teachers like him.

Hank Hanegraaff was and is a fraud. Always changing, always updating his doctrinal beliefs, always as unsteady as water. Yet there are people in the Body of Christ who still give him the time of day. But my Bible says mark those who cause divisions and avoid them.

Hank essentially ruined the whole concept of Bible Answer Man.

God is helping the church. It gives me great hope. I think of that one photo of Hanegraaff’s chrismation, and the beauty of it coming out, in a big way. How long would Hanegraaff have hidden his true allegiance to Scripture, had he not been publicly revealed by another? CRI was an empire - no two ways about it.

itls a shame that a little truth is connected to a lie. He was talking about the Catholic church, not the Orthodox church. You need to be truthful and change the title of this video.

The only thing I disagree with Walter Martin on is his claim that real Christians and Roman Catholics, and Orthodox are brothers and sister. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you're a Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox, you are a child of the devil because you reject the gospel of salvation by grace alone in Christ alone.

Protestants are historically illiterate. May God show them the truth so they can know the fullness of the faith.

Dr. Walter Martin helped me with apologetics when I was Evangelical. I later started to learn about Church History and became Eastern Orthodox.

This isn't a Protestant critique of Orthodoxy. It's a critique of a caricature of Roman Catholicism.

Roman Catholicism and Orthodoxy are two peas in the same pod. They are far more alike than different. Both teach a corrupt Gospel. In order to be saved you must be baptized, partake of the Eucharist, and live right in order to make it to Heaven.....hopefully. Both have complex liturgies, both pray worship images, icons and statues and call it veneration, both claim to be apostolic, both love their religion of the senses...we must see, smell, touch, and taste in our worship of God. Both do not worship God in Spirit and Truth. Hank Hannegraph should resign from CRI and start ORI...Orthodox Research Institute. But I guess $$$ sure influences a lot of theology.

I would have agreed with this man less than a week ago, but I can no longer consider myself a Protestant in good faith after finding out I held Nestorian and Gnostic views unknowingly. To believe Mary wasn't the Mother of God leads to Nestorianism and Once saved always saved is akin to Gnosticism or special knowledge in my opinion. I'm currently exploring the Apostolic Succession churches in finding a new home.
