Interview with Stukenberg
So... I had the opportunity to meet this band from Texas... great sound and all, but... well... How can I explain this...
Here at UglyScene, whether we have a phone interview or a live video interview, we like to transcribe said interviews and post them for our visitors to read them wherever they are; however, I believe that this interview is impossible to transcribe... I know, it sucks! and the band's URL is StukenbergSucks.com too... hmmm
No, seriously, they do not suck! They are great!
And by great... I mean, the leader, David Stukenberg, has issues, which makes his music very interesting!
We will present you this time, with a video interview that makes absolutely no sense, and an e-mail interview with their manager and friend Jesse... WHY? Because Stukenberg is special! They are different! And next time, I promise, we will do the video interview before the show, not after...
Now, some things we understood from the interview: the band is the brain-child of singer/song writer David Stukenberg and the band's manager Jesse, One of the members came to the band through a Craigslist ad and the manatee is the cow of the sea, but they are not the same as Dugongs (also, sea cows).

Always been my favorite in KoRn. His guitar work is so underrated. Nothing against Head, I love him too, almost as equally as Munky but Munk is the reason KoRn sound the way they do. The crunchy riffs, the weird off the wall sounds they experiment with...all of it! Don't think so, listen to the 4 albums they released without Head. He shouldered the KoRn sound all himself. You could tell there was something missing obviously because there wasn't dual guitars, but he held it down. Even on the LAPD albums and Creep Demo's. The thing that always stood out to me was his playing. He's the fuckin man! The guy has an off the wall sense of humor too and he just seems like a very good person overall. Long live Munky!
Seems like such a cool, calm dude. Respect.

I love him too, because you can see he's a transparent person! He was so kind, and a gentleman with me in Cardiff * Wales*,when I had the huge bless sing to hang out with him and all the band in their Dressing room at the Motorpoint Venue , after the show Korn had during their awesome Tour with Limp Bizkit they had in December 2016!! I think he really liked me!! I love you back james! <3 Thank you so much! You and Korn are one of the " best things " that ever happened in my life!! See you next year!! love you immensely, guys!! Munky's never too busy to sit down and give thoughtful answers...real human.
I watched an interview with Chevelle and they were saying he is like that 100% of the time, they said he was even having a deep discussion with them just moments before he was about to hit the stage with Korn. Korn and Chevelle are pretty close friends.
munky so humble and down to earth him and jon are my heroes.
He probably has the coolest and most down to earth personality of all the band members, Brian and Jonathan are probably the most talented though.
what happened to that interview with Munky from this time when he was so obviously tweaking?
Tweaking? Lol what
He was abusing alcohol there for awhile around 2006. If you watch the MV for politics he drinks a beer bong at one point that is filled with a sh!t load of beer. He used to be the type of alcoholic a lot of the other band members did not want to be around.
Munky had foster parents. I don't believe he has ever met his real parents. They both passed away around 2007-2009 I think so that was a very dark period for him and he was abusing alcohol during that time. I think alcohol was his main thing, but I'm sure he had his doctor buddies get him some good drugs too.
