Hope Bible Church
Приєднався 11 жов 2013
At Hope Bible Church we believe that the King James Bible is the inspired and preserved word of God (2 Tim. 3:16) and that "rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Tim. 2:15) is the key to understanding the Bible. All scripture is for us, but it was not all written to and about us. To rightly divide the word of truth is to recognize and consistently maintain the clear divisions that God put in the scripture. The main division in the word of God is between the prophetic kingdom program of Israel (concerns that which was spoken by the prophets since the world began, Acts 3:21) and the mystery program of the Body of Christ (concerns that which was kept secret since the world began until it was revealed through the apostle Paul, Rom. 16:25). Christ chose Paul to be the pattern and spokesman for the Body of Christ to follow in this present dispensation of grace (1 Cor. 4:16-17; 11:1; Phil. 4:9; 1 Tim. 1:12-16).

I love this guy! Best preacher and Bible teacher ever!
Amen brother Rasmus !
Witch gospel should we proclaim; the gospel of the kingdom or gospel of reconciliation?
The gospel of reconciliation is for us today who are under God's dispensing of grace. Read 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. The gospel of the kingdom pertains to God dealing with the nation of Israel in accordance to fulfilling prophecy after we, the heavenly body of Christ, are caught up as 1 thessalonians ch.4 speaks of.
Very helpful sermon. Thank you from California 🙏
Much appreciated! Amen
As always much appreciated for your ministry

Good brother David, a good scriptural balanced teaching of Grace that we are under. Amen (Paul from Scotland U.K.) My wife's name not my name😊 at the top.
Please expound 2nd Cor 5:19(18-21). God reconciled the WORLD... as an ambassador, our ministry of reconciliation was given to us. To share that ALL SINS were FORGIVEN. Be ye reconciled to God. BELIEVE the 1st Cor 15:1-4. Grace and peace.

The left right paradigm is how they control us. There is one party and they are all actors in the same club whose job is to keep you in the left right paradigm and make you believe your vote counts. It doesn't. The candididates are selected. The only way for people to have a say is to not give their consent. Consent of the governed (Dec Of Ind). No matter who you voted for, you agreed to let these psychopaths continue doing what they're doing. Globalist occultists Trump-Musk will be bringing in the 4th Industrial Revolution (Klaus Schwab). No matter which way you voted, you gave your consent to be governed by demonically posessed megalomaniacs.
Amen and amen. A bunch of unbelieving scholars are always casting doubt on the word of God. “For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.” 1 Thessalonians 2:13 KJV
A man can live up to this every day of his life without failing.
Hi, if it isn't too much trouble, is it possible to flip the playlist so it plays in order? Thank you for your ministry! ❤
Thank you for this teaching! Have a blessed holiday and Christmas and New Year
Amen
"You explain to me natural birth"😂😂😂 That was fantastic. You mentioned so many verses on the Gospel tract I made. So many!
Good teaching. Thank you.
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9 KJV Would it be more proper to say, rather than claiming Jesus *laid something aside* when putting on human flesh, that instead, he *added* something to himself that was previously not extant (Php 2:6-8)? Seeing as upon his choosing, he showed forth his glory as a man (Mat 17:1-2)? To "lay aside" implies a relinquishing possession of it, to take it off, to remove it. Some like to claim Jesus took off, or removed some aspects of his attributes, quality, expression, or identity when he became man. Such things are heretical.
Thanks for the input. I am sure there is a better way to say it, but I made it clear that Christ never ceased to be God when He took on flesh. I was only referring to the full manifestation of His glory which no man on earth has yet seen (1 Tim. 6:16).
@@HopeBibleChurchGa I understood that is what you wished to convey. It's been my desire that these important things be clarified in critical detail because for the few ministers that handle it properly, there's a boat load who come along and tell everyone all the things God set aside, took off, removed, diminished from himself to be able to pay the sin debt.
The flesh is NOT MY FRIEND BUT ENEMY. It’s crucified! I’ll yield to the Spirit thank you! By the Grace of Christ.
Nice to hear a Christmas song sung at a Grace Church....beautiful!
1 John 2:27 "But the anointing(Spirit of Truth) which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him."
Amen, Paul is our pattern today. I was stunned when I began to reread Paul's epistles years ago as a King James baptist. I thought I was a right divider at that time, lol. I Timothy 1:16 KJV says: "Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting." And no, we grace/midacts folks don't worship Paul.
The Gospel of Salvation for Today Romans 1:16: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." 1 Corinthians 1:18: "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God." The only Gospel that can save you today is the one Paul preached: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4: The Gospel That Saves Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand, by which also you are saved if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures." Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 1:13-14: "In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory." Romans 5:8-9 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 2 Timothy 9-10 Saved us And Called Us paul speaking 9 who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10 but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: Salvation is not based on human traditions, rituals, or works, but on the finished work of Christ on the cross. He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Salvation is by believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. Any addition to this gospel, such as requiring works, confessing Jesus as Lord, Water baptism, repenting of sins, rituals, or following the law, is not the true gospel and should be rejected According to (Galatians 1:1-12). Stand firm in the true gospel and rejoice in the salvation given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Paul speaking to the church Ephesians 1:4-7 4 according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7 in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Colossians 1:21-23 FREE FROM ACCUSATION And God Is the one to present you holy and blameless not us 21 And you, who were formerly alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and blameless and above reproach in His sight, 23 if you continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and are not removed from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant. The Righteousness of God Through Faith Romans 3:20-24 Good works will not justify you in his sight 20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Philippians 3:7-9 Righteousness comes not from the law but by faith in Christ Jesus my Lord 7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Beware of the devil and his lies and deception 2 Timothy 2:23-26 The snare of the devil 23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. 24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God (peradventure) perhaps will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
As soon as I played this, I knew something was way off. I struggled with the man from the start; I find his preaching and reading style somewhat annoying. Here’s a concise and strong analysis. I’ll clarify where this speaker aligns and where red flags arise, ensuring everything is weighed biblically. 1. Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth • The speaker begins by emphasizing 2 Timothy 2:15 and the concept of “rightly dividing.” This is biblical and crucial; we must distinguish between contexts, audiences, and covenants. • However, he takes this concept to an extreme, essentially over-dividing Scripture in ways that undermine its unity. While rightly dividing is essential, it doesn’t mean every event or teaching applies only to Israel or only to the body of Messiah. Scripture has depth but remains consistent in pointing to Yeshua. 2. Acts 2 and the Body of Christ • The speaker claims Acts 2 concerns only Israel and rejects the idea that the body of Christ began here. o What aligns: Yes, Acts 2:5-14 shows Peter addressing “men of Judea” and “men of Israel.” Pentecost was a Jewish feast, and those present were predominantly Jews. o Where it falters: The argument assumes two separate churches-a “kingdom church” for Israel and the “body of Christ” revealed to Paul. However, Yeshua stated: “I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it” (Matthew 16:18). There is one body of believers (Ephesians 4:4-6), whether Jew or Gentile. The same Yeshua who called Israel to repentance is the One who extends salvation to all. Romans 11 clarifies that Gentiles are grafted into the same olive tree of faith. 3. Baptism of the Holy Spirit • The speaker distinguishes between two baptisms: o Baptism with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2): For Israel, empowering for signs and wonders. o Baptism by the Spirit into the Body of Christ: For Gentiles, revealed later through Paul. • Where it goes astray: Scripture does not teach two separate baptisms involving the Holy Spirit. Paul states: “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body-whether Jewish or Greek, slave or free-and all were made to drink of one Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:13) o This baptism unites both Jews and Gentiles into one body of Messiah. Acts 2 represents the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit, but its significance extends to all believers. 4. The Kingdom Offer • The speaker repeatedly states Acts 2 and early Acts are about a “renewed offer of the kingdom to Israel.” o What aligns: Peter indeed calls Israel to repentance, promising restoration (Acts 3:19-21). This is consistent with Israel’s role in prophecy. o Where it falters: The claim that this excludes the body of Messiah is unsupported. Acts 2 introduces the fulfillment of Joel 2:28-32, which speaks of the Spirit being poured out on all flesh. Yeshua’s coming and resurrection inaugurated the New Covenant: “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.” (Luke 22:20) Under this covenant, salvation is extended to Jew and Gentile alike. Acts 2:39 says: “For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away-as many as ADONAI our God calls to Himself.” o Peter’s use of “far away” aligns with Paul’s explanation in Ephesians 2:13, where Gentiles “once far off” are brought near through Yeshua. 5. Paul vs. Peter and the Gospel • The speaker insists Paul preached a “different gospel” of grace for Gentiles, distinct from Peter’s “gospel of the kingdom” to Israel. o Biblical clarity: There is one gospel-the gospel of Yeshua’s death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins: “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should proclaim a gospel to you contrary to what we proclaimed to you, let that person be accursed!” (Galatians 1:8) Paul and Peter preached the same Yeshua: “The gospel was proclaimed to Abraham: ‘In you all nations shall be blessed.’” (Galatians 3:8) The gospel of the kingdom and the gospel of grace are not separate; they are facets of the same message. Yeshua is King and Savior. Final Concerns: Divisive Over-Division While this speaker correctly emphasizes context and distinctions, his extreme dispensationalism divides Scripture and believers unnecessarily. It creates artificial lines where none exist biblically-suggesting two gospels, two churches, and two baptisms. This teaching risks: 1. Undermining unity among believers (Ephesians 4:3-6). 2. Ignoring the fullness of Yeshua’s ministry, which unites Jew and Gentile into one body (Romans 10:12). 3. Adding confusion where Scripture brings clarity. Conclusion I was right to feel uneasy. While the speaker raises valid points about Acts 2’s immediate Jewish context, his conclusions over-divide the Word and conflict with the broader teachings of Scripture. The truth is clear: there is one body, one Spirit, one baptism, and one gospel that points to Yeshua, the Savior of all who believe. Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the Good News, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who trusts-to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
Good to see Rasmus again ! From Quebec, Canada,
