Coffeecake Persimmon Coffee Cake Asian persimmon 2024
This is my coffeecake persimmon. Last year it had 3 persimmons on it but none were pollinated. This year all fruit were pollinated which means the inside flesh is dark in color and it has seeds. You can eat this persimmon unpollinated but it will not taste as good. For anyone wondering it does produce both male and female flowers. This was the only persimmon i have that bloomed this year and it did not require another persimmon to pollinate. Some say you need a chocolate persimmon for pollination but i did not. The only issue with this variety is that it will also pollinate your other persimmons meaning they will have seeds as well. If you plant this variety be aware of how it will affect your other Asian persimmons.

8/11/24. This is my Olympian Fig Tree that was planted in 2020. As you can see it has incredible fruit production. Im from the Atlanta area and i always recommend Longue D'Aout for taste and growth but this variety is still a good variety to have.

Methley Plum Fruit Tree

May, 30 2024. This is my Methley Plum Tree. Its been in the ground for 4 years. Its a great Plum Tree and is incredibly fast growing. However it has one drawback. It flowers incredibly early. Im near Atlanta Zone 7B and since it blooms so early its susceptible to a freeze. Below 32 is ok but if it hits below 28 even once after flowering you wont get any fruit. The previous 2 years this happened...

Montmorency Cherry Tree 2024

This is my Montmorency tree. Its been in the ground 4 years. It bloomed around April 3rd and it is self fertile. Its a sour cherry but its great tasting and its great for pies. Produces like crazy. Video was taken May 22nd. Im out of Atlanta.

It looks like you train your fig tree to be bush. I see the bricks you were using to tie the branches down. I do the exact opposite and try to train my figs to be single or double trunk and then let them bush out at the top. Can I ask what benefits you see from growing them as a bush?
My latarulla took 4 years before I got fruit. They were delicious.
Those are some nice looking figs? Do you weigh them? I heard they get really big.

you didnt taste them :( I really want to get hana fuyu but I like the crunchy texture. I dont want them to be flavourless. can you tell me if they are good eaten off the tree when they are not overly ripe
