Ok everyone! The writer of both the OG and Remake versions just said in an interview this week that Aerith plays the big sister role to Cloud. So that is that.

This is going to be a long post so, please bear with me. Mordin, Thane, Garrus, and Jacob aren’t qualified for the job it is because Mordin’s a Doctor not a Mechanic, Thane may be able to pull it off on paper, but he’s an Assassin, and he doesn’t have much Tech Skills, Garrus is good at Calibrations but he’s not a Hacker, and even though Jacob volunteered, Miranda had a point. Quarians are Engineers, and Geth are AI Robots, so Tali and Legion are good and Kasumi is a Thief, and she’s a good pick. As for Biotics, Samara is an Asari and Asari are strong Biotics, but Samara’s a Justicar, so her Biotics are strong enough, and Jack was a Cerberus test subject for Biotics, so she has good biotic power, but Thane is a Dying Man, and Miranda and Jacob’s Biotics aren’t strong enough. As for the Fireteam Leaders, Garrus had a firearm team, until Sidonis got them killed, Miranda is TIM’s former 2nd in Command before she resigned at the end of the mission, and Jacob is a soldier, in theory Grunt and Zaeed can command well but Zaeed is a Lone Wolf after his partner Vido betrayed him, and Grunt still had a lot to learn before he is ready to command a Krogan Squad in Mass Effect 3.

I feel like alot of Cloud and Aerith's chemistry is lost in the Remake. Cloud has better chemistry with Tifa in the new one, while original FF7, Aerith really steals the show..... until she doesn't :(

Whatever but she loves more Zack than cloud. In the game when cloud asked her, she doesn't deny. So she still loves Zack. She likes cloud because he is similar to Zach. Maybe that's why she likes cloud and probably cloud just a replace of zack.

Why the hell does legion care about the seeker swarm

I believe that Cloud loves both Tifa and Aerith, just in different ways. And both relationships are equally important for his growth into the hero he needs to be. As far as who is better for him romantically? Well, at the end of the day, how affectionate he is with either of them is entirely dependent on our choices as the players of the game, so it’s pretty difficult to tell which potential relationship is TRULY canon. I’m personally Team Cloti simply because I truly believe Tifa and Cloud are more compatible with each other. But Aerith is an absolute angel, and I hated how she was cruelly ripped from us. And I can’t wait for Part 3 so we can take our revenge on Sephiroth.

Would be delighted if you made a second video in this series, if you are still creating videos that is. Rebirth had some good moments with Cloud and Aerith as well as Cloud and Tifa too. Hope part 3 will keep having cute flirty moments.

Rebirth has been out for a while now. Now some people can drop the idea that cloud and aerith liking each other is some kind of betrayal to zack, since he qccepted it when marlene told him they liked each other

tengo una teoria y es que en el remake nos muestran a un Cloud hablandole a alguien y a otro cloud que solo llora y no dice nada... Por lo que hay un choque de universos o lineas temporales, el cloud original y el cloud del remake, pero en una la salva y en el otro no, si vemos hay dos esferas pero Aerith ya le habia dado su esfera a cloud y es la que tiene al final, mientras que la que murio en el original aun tenia esa esfere y callo en el agua... es complicado pero esto podria demostrar que Cloud si logro salvar a Aerith pero esta esta atrapada en una especie de linea de tiempo o en otro universo y otra prueba es la grieta que se ve en el cielo que solo cloud y Aerith pueden ver, esto se debe a que algo los une y yo digo que es esa esfera.

The developers has stated that this is a love triangle, where tifa and aerith like cloud anf it is up to the player to decide witch one is prefered by themself. So there is no canon in that. If you say aerith x cloud that means you are giving more attention to aerith sweetness and care than someone who is giving more attention to tifa incapacity to unlock her heart and be indecisive.

I played the OG in September 97’. Finished the game a dozen times before AC and CC came out. It was also the era without internet discussions. I always had the Aerith date and didn’t know you could date others. Recently I found out about the shipping wars. I love Tifa but I always thought she was a very good friend at the end of the OG - loved the lifestream scenes with her. Aerith and Cloud will always be my main couple. Recently I had some discussions with Tifa fans and my god they’re annoying: they refused to accept my view, while I respected theirs. Looking forward to part 3!

It's pretty easy to save everyone. But I think it's more interesting that at least 3 squad mates die. I make sure no matter what, Jacob dies, though.😂

Good grief, this story... Aerith... Playing Rebirth took my capacity for sorrow opened it a thousand fold wide. I never expected that a piece of fiction would (at any point) cause me the most emotional anguish in my life. And having a life with the death of closely held loved ones, I'm struggling with it.
