Great video TY
Thank you! Your support means a lot to me!
The God of Cooks has blessed 😇 you well🙏. Enjoy 😊.
Thank you, we enjoy using all our LeCreuset pieces, along with being a talking point when we have visitors
Prior to putting it all together did you wash all the grates and internal components?
Hi @fenixdncr, I didn't wash anything, the initial prime and burn in process should burn off oil and shipping residue etc.... as you need to run the grill at 500 for some time
If I had a view like yours I’d be outside cooking everyday!
Thank you for the compliment! I love sharing my views with all of you.
This music is making me cry lol
Wondering if I should buy this or a gozney dome for a mobile business … wdyt?
That is certainly a tough one to answer, I can think of a lot of pro's and con's for each, this oven is certainly going to catch the attention of people, lots of space for lots of Pizza's and side dishes for a rush order, however, it will take a lot of wood burning, the Gozney Dome is a great pizza oven, typically with less than a minute of heat recovery and the option of using Propane or Wood (depending on the model), both are excellent ovens, and I don't think you could go wrong with either, figuring out the space you need for transportation will most likely be a large factor in your decision
Just bought one 5/20/24 at Costco. Thanks for the video, was big help. It took me as long as you just to unpack the darn thing. Now I just have to figure how to lift it up.
Great to hear you found the video useful, yeah, getting the BBQ upright was no small task, definitely a 2 person job
Just bout mine today at Costco. 5/25/24. Gonna be a good summer.
How is the build quality of the grosso? Are you happy with your purchase? Is the oven well built? I am thinking about getting one!
Hi @mitchellpollock1, I do feel like the oven it well built, the only thing I have needed to adjust is the square plate on top, where the chimney connects, I needed to undo the screws, insert the chimney and then screw the plate back on, please note however, due to some unforeseen circumstances in building the outdoor kitchen, the @lapiazzawoodovens2998 is still sitting in the garage, and I have been unable to use it
the small platform was jumpy, having the weight change back and forth even after u stopped adding things to it. seems to be a common problem with the scale. do you find it happens often? thanks for the video. i'm comparing it to the Taylor dual platform scale
@simonintokyo, I typically don't leave items on the scales as long as I did in the Video, although I have seen it happen again, its not enough to hinder any thing that I am weighing for cooking
🤷 Promo*SM
Hi. I am wanting to buy a pizza insert for the Silverton 620. Because of the sloped lid, I need to know if there will be enough 'headroom' for the insert and still be able to close the lid completely. Can anyone tell me the dimensions from the top of the lower grill grate to the inside of the lowest point (front) of the sloped lid? I'm told for a Green Mountain insert I need 6 inch height at the front of the grill, from grate to lid. Thank you! PS It is for a gift, I don't have access to the grill itself or I would measure :) Thanks
Hi @rden9835, this may be a late response, as far as I can tell its roughly 5inches in height
Box #1 ❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤
Thank you @rasheedodom215, hopefully you were able to cook some fish based on this video
I counted 34 pots and pans, sell the 2 on the left then buy 3 more of the William Sonoma 8-Tier & one 6-Tier Enclumes, that will give you room (8x4) +(6x2), for 44 and they will be more balanced! I know the WS Tiers are quite costly, but with that beautiful collection, might as well create an extra beautiful display!!
@Angel.Kariba I'm not sure we would sell any of our LeCreuset Pots and Pans, however, I like your thinking, at some point we will purchase some more WS Tiers, as we still had some other Pots/Pans in boxes that we had not gotten to at the time of the Video
@@thebulldogkitchen Oh No, I meant sell the 2 Tiers on the left, so you could have 3 Tiers on each side of the room, so you could have a balanced display of only WS Tiers!!! Defintely NOT SELL the beautful pots! I love the collection!
The lady talking ruins it so bad
@amber west, my wife was helping to film everything and helping me to remember pieces of information that other people might useful
This is the Grosso correct? Did you take the stones out to lift it? Any cooks on it yet?
Yes, this is the grosso, and it's very big, it is still in the garage at the moment, waiting for the outdoor kitchen to be built, so it can go on the counter top, so no cooks yet, 🤞 the outdoor kitchen will take another 2 months and I can get back to posting videos, and show what the grosso is capable of, I will have 4 - 5 people help to lift it in place when the time comes
@@thebulldogkitchen is it too big? Deciding between the Toscana and Grosso. What drove you towards the Grosso?
@FlyingWing I dont know if there is such a thing as too big for a Wood Fired Oven, however, it is on the larger size, and is a little overwhelming when you first open the crate, now that I am used to it, it feels like the right size, at the time of purchase there were sales for the Grosso and not the Toscana which brought them very close from a financial perspective, my outdoor kitchen will be big enough to take the larger size, and I wanted to make sure that I have more options for cooking and temperatures, I'll be cooking various proteins and sides, the larger size allows for more pots/pans along with a wider variety of temperatures, moving things closer or further away from the fire, I feel like the depth is negligible in size between the Grosso and Toscana, and really comes down to the width, and the height opening, although the height opening is only 1 inch difference, this could make a difference in terms of cast iron dutch ovens with the lid on
How many boxes can you buy ?
You can purchase 1 mystery box per VIP ticket, and the person must show up at the event, so you could not buy 2 tickets for yourself
yahooo! Yeah. that's unreal unboxing- 👌
It certainly took a while to work out how to get into the box
Wow, now I don't have to feel guilty for having 5! I want to add something in deep teal, these things are truly very expensive potato chips... Great collection, thanks for sharing!
I dont think anyone should feel guilt about owning 1 or more LeCreuset Dutch Ovens, we will be passing these onto our children, and hopefully onto their children, eventually they will get split up, for now though, we can enjoy them as a whole collection
Thanks for this video, I will check out the Enclume. I live near a LC outlet and collect them for enjoyment and to pass down to my family as heirlooms. 👍🏻
Hi Sheryl, wonderful that you watched the video, we are the same, we "collect" and use our LeCreuset Kitchenware, eventually this will get passed down to our daughters, and their children and so on and so on, hope you enjoy showing off your LC collection on a new Enclume soon
Thanks for sharing. Interesting video. How can those of us in Africa get the mystery box?
Hi Comfort, as far as I know, these can only be purchased at a Le Creuset Factory to Table Sale event, being in the U.S. I only get notified for the ones in the U.S.
Same price anyways 🙃
I believe there are some bargains to be had there
I bought this grill last night. I noticed at the end of your video there was a build up of ash on the grates. I had the same issue after seasoning. Is this something that you noticed having an issue with in subsequent cooks?
Hi Jake, I did notice it on my burn in, its not something that I recall noticing since, however, I have not been looking for it and have been more focused on how the food has been cooking, I'll keep my eye on it, and update if I see anything
I take it that those mystery boxes aren’t $40 anymore? But for whatever it’s worth, it looks like you got a great deal.
Yes its a great deal, I just checked and for the Phoenix FTT Sale, the Mystery Boxes were $50 each per Ticket, I think typically there will be ~$300 or more in value in the boxes
I'm going to a factory to table sale in Phoenix tomorrow and was looking for a review of the event and stumbled on your video. First, I AM SO SAD they were sold out of the VIP tickets because I can't purchase a mystery box. Those seem to be incredible bargains! Second, your daughters are precious and remind me of my two girls - they are now 34 & 40 years old! So precious to remember back when they were little and their personalities were much like your girls. Thanks for the video!
Thank you so much for your kind words about my daughters, they were so excited to open up the boxes, hope you were able to pick up some great Le Creuset Bargains
How did you like it? Went Thursday and got the mystery boxes, then again on Saturday to look at the things that were marked down. The mystery boxes are certainly awesome deals. I've told my girlfriend, that we should go to any that are a day's drive from Phoenix. $100/per person is worth every penny of it..
@@jeffnewbill8163 It was good! I did spend some money but the mystery box is definitely the only reason I would go next time! I'll have to be sure to get tickets early!
Great video super helpful , couple feedback points . I agree get a mic that’ll help , and show a little more detail on how you install it . I.e leg part install show where it goes with a little more detail ! Other wise great video
Hi John, thank you for the comments, I have a mic now, most of my other videos are much clearer, I'll try to do better in upcoming videos to include more details, and closer shots, if you purchased a Silverton 620, good luck with your cooking, hope you enjoy it as much as I have
Oh no what a disaster... no room for his millions of ridiculous high priced le creuset pots...you do know one pot can cook all recipes!
Hi Marina, Thank you so much for taking the time to watch the video and comment
Oh my so you felt you had to make your judgements known. Apparently never owned a Le Creuset. Anyways. You do you and no need to bring down others. Beautiful collection
I bought mine from Lodge. Need another got to checkout Willam and Sonoma.
@@thebulldogkitchen what is the name of that again. I couldn’t understand what you said?
@@TheSeans2009 its called an Enclume Pot Rack
What’s your current opinion on this grill?
Hi Jacob, so far so good, it sits somewhere between my Weber Gas Grill, and my Kamado Joe, I get the convenience of a consistent temperature, and be able to easily adjust the temperature, while still being able to add a smoke flavor, its a nice size for myself and family (2 adults and 2 children), I had no need for the larger pellet grills, as it makes up part of my outdoor grilling options, its practically a set and forget with the mobile app and inbuilt meat probe, its my first pellet grill, so I cant compare it to other pellet grills out there, I think the value that I get out of it, and will continue to get out of it over the next few years meant that it was a great purchase for me
@@thebulldogkitchen That’s good to hear. I picked one up yesterday at Costco because it was the perfect size and on sale but the reviews online were pretty mixed. Not reviewed well on traeger’s website but i saw someone say that it had good reviews on Costco’s website before they removed it from online. Most people I’ve seen on UA-cam have decent experiences with it though
Thank you, we just purchased this from Costco and you have made it a lot easier for us to assemble 😊😊
Its wonderful to hear that my video was able to help at least 1 person make the assembly a little more easier, hope you enjoy using it as much as I have, Happy Holidays!!!
What a delightful pair of beauties : Your daughters 😊 The Le Creuset factory must be so fun to go to. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Daisy Q for your kind words, our children are what we live for And yes, its so much fun to go, this was our second one and can't recommend them enough
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Fun 💕
Hi Candy, yeah, we had a fun day at the event, then unboxing the unknown was fun, hope you will get a chance to go to an event
$50!!! I just bought a discounted Marseille Dutch oven and paid $400!!! I want several mystery boxes!
Yeah, $50 is an insane deal if you go to the Factory to Table sale, there is at least $300 worth of Le Creuset in the Mystery Boxes, it's worth it just for that
BOM dia, belíssimas peças, panelas pra toda vida ,muito charme ,amei apresentação da princesa linda Deus Abençoe muito bjs felicidades primeira vez aqui 🙏😍
Thank you, yes, they will last forever, and can be passed down, generation to generation
Just bought one tonight. Was at Costco and they’re selling for $499.97 now! Couldn’t pass it up. Still $899 online. Can’t wait to fire it up!
Wow!! that's a crazy deal, I couldn't be more happier with mine, hope you get as much out of it as I am with mine
@@thebulldogkitchen Wow. just paid close to 800 for mine.
@@bensj4713 sometimes looking at the bigger picture, if this is something you use for the next 5 years, and then use it half the year, each use is very little in terms of $ amount, plus the enjoyment of using it
you need to speak up or get a mic...cant hear you
Thank you for the feedback, I cleaned up the audio as best I could, for most of my other videos I used a microphone
How do you like this grill so far?
Its been great for us, not sure if its because its new, its been the most used BBQ that I have since purchasing, I was tempted to go bigger, but this cooks everything we need as a family of four, and have cooked 2 Tri-Tips, which was more than enough for us, compared to my gas grill, it does not get as higher temps (500f) but produces better flavor, and it's more convenient than the Kamado Joe
@@thebulldogkitchen same here! I bought this two weeks ago and we’ve used it a few times already. Most used grill I’ve bought. I like it so far!
@@scg.6618 Glad you like it, I'd been on the fence for nearly 2 years about purchasing a pellet grill, has ended up being a wonderful addition to my grills, can't wait to keep cooking with it
Looks great! And the scenery is amazing!
Thank you so much, I think we have cooked Salmon like this another 3 times since the video was published, hope you will be able to try it out it and comment on the results
Thanks
No problem
Zippered full pocket inside case opposite the Velcro flap? I think yes, But who asked me…
Thanks David, I didn't realize I missed that out, on this one, it's another velcro flap
