@emilyjoansmith I'll get anxious when I'm a bit tired, run down. In the moment ill never realise im tired, instead ill feel the begginings of procrastination and ill struggle to lift my mood. Like im trying to swim against a strong current, Ill feel anxious about potentially having an anxious crash 😅 how nuts is that? Bit of a self forfilling prophecy going on ! Once ive crashed ill not be able to relax anyways cos ill feel anxious about all the stuff ive not done cos i felt anxious. Talk about a vicious cycle haha But, as crazy as that all is, I find compromising with myself is quite useful. I decide ill make time for a recharging activity later in the day. But to be able to actually enjoy it without feeing guilty, I'll take my list of things I wanted to get done and make each task waaay easier. Just for the sake of keeping a momentum. If i still struggle and I'm still not in gear, I'll make it easier again and even easier until suddenly my brain thinks that shits easy, takes off the brakes and I kick into gear. Even if its only 1min of l tidying up that's fine 😅😅😅😅 It's weird i do a ridiculously watered down version of my todo list but feel good relaxing later as I feel like I've moved foward. Easier said than done of course.

@@emilyjoansmith I suppose my goal is to be able to spend time recharging to prevent a crash. But I never seem to be able to recognise it in the moment. So if you figure that out...let me know! 😅

@emilyjoansmith Something you said on one of your recent videos really struck me. You said, if you don't want to spend time with certain people who aren't nice. It'll manifest as an anxiety crash. I have a similar thing but with activities. Thought it was really insightful. Anyways, have a great Christmas and here's to a fantastic new year 🍻
